This was perfect for my combination skin, where only my nose is oily and the rest is dry. It absorbs well without leaving a greasy feeling. There wasn't a single thing I disliked about it. Sometimes I get bored using the same product and try others, but I always come back to this one because nothing else compares. - jj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDec 31, 2024
I really like the bottles that contain the skin toner and emulsion. They're so convenient to use. I bought this remembering how incredibly moisturizing it used to be, but it's so drying now, probably because of the added brightening function. When I apply it alone, my face feels like it's cracking. It's too dry to use, but too expensive to waste. I'm in a dilemma! I wonder if mixing it with some oil might help? I'm trying to find a way to make it work. - ia*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedNov 10, 2024
!!Check out my one-month usage review in the 'Cons' section below!! -Initial usage review- I've been using the pre-renewal version of this product for years because I loved it so much, so I tried the renewed version right away. It seems they added niacinamide, and I immediately noticed my complexion brightening. My skin texture improved and my pores tightened up. The renewed version is much better in terms of functionality compared to the previous one. The texture became slightly more slippery and rich compared to the pre-renewal version. It has better hydration. The scent is similar to niacinamide ampoules. No eye irritation whatsoever. !!One-month usage review!! Initially, my skin brightened and the texture improved, which was great. However, after 2-3 weeks of use, my face became extremely red to the point where I had to apply more foundation than usual to cover it up, and my pores all opened up. It seems something in it didn't agree with me and caused irritation. I stopped using it and went back to the pre-renewal version I had left, and everything calmed down. After years of using the Super Vital Softener, I can't use it anymore. -Initial usage review- When I first applied it, it stung so much I thought I couldn't use it. It got better after applying it a few more times. Still, when my skin condition is poor, it stings, which is a bit of a downside. The pre-renewal version never stung at all. I apply it as the first step in my skincare routine, and while it's become slightly more slippery and rich than before, which is a bit odd, it does provide much better hydration. However, that richness slightly affects makeup application, so you need to adjust the amount of emulsion, cream, etc. in the next steps. Stopped using after a month due to skin issues. Good in terms of functionality and hydration.
