While the scent is not overpowering, those sensitive to fragrances might find it a bit much. The packaging is so pretty it's a mood-booster just sitting on your vanity. The fine texture works perfectly with a brush - it's a match made in heaven! As expected with powder formulas, there is some excess when applying. - ks*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Texture: The powder particles were soft and finely milled. Packaging: The inner lid prevents powder spillage, but I was disappointed by how much excess powder flew around when opening the compact. The puff was plump and soft, making it pleasant to use on the skin. While the mesh dispenses powder well when pressed, occasionally powder spurts out from empty spaces like a water gun, so careful pressure control is needed. Scent: There's a subtle lavender-like fragrance that doesn't feel artificial or off-putting. Application: It seems to neutralize yellow tones somewhat. Despite appearing purple in the compact, it actually gives a whitening effect on the skin. There was slight pilling, but it definitely controlled oil well. The excess powder was much worse than expected, leaving a dusting of powder everywhere after use. - ee*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I often find that powders can settle into wrinkles or pores and make my face feel cracked, but this one doesn't do that! Plus, while the ingredients in these powder products can be hit or miss, this one passes the ingredient test with flying colors. 2. The particles are incredibly fine, light, and don't clump together. I applied it to my face at 11 AM, and even at 10 PM, it still looked fresh without any cracking. 3. Even if you only get product on one part of the puff, it spreads evenly when you rub the puff together. It also blends seamlessly on the face without clumping if you quickly pat it in. The middle cover is made of plastic, and right underneath it are the puff and mesh net. This means that when you open the middle cover, powder flies everywhere - keep this in mind even when using it at home. (The photo shows how far the powder scattered even after I cleaned the vanity once. It's still lingering in places if you disturb the surface...) After foundation, focus on applying it with the puff to the T-zone where pores are visible. Gently pat it in, and you'll achieve a natural, soft-focus skin effect without any clumping. I think this will definitely be my go-to finishing powder for the summer. - eu********Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMar 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

First Impression When I opened the box, I was struck by how beautiful the purple powder looked. The fine particles were immediately noticeable, which really got me excited. 2. Incredibly Soft Puff In my 20 years of makeup experience, I've only used pressed powders. This is my first time trying loose powder, and I can't believe how soft the puff is! As someone who's only used brushes before, this was a revelation. It's so much gentler on the skin compared to brushes, which is great for my redness-prone complexion. I always try to minimize irritation, and this puff causes absolutely none. 3. Fine Particles for Even Application Being new to loose powders, I accidentally picked up quite a bit on the puff. I panicked, thinking, 'Oh no, I'm running late for work, what if this makes me look ghostly white?' But when I patted it onto my face, it blended seamlessly! No white cast or clumping at all. 4. Makeup Staying Power My skin is so unpredictable - extremely dry in winter and an oil slick in summer. After applying foundation and patting this product on, it locks my makeup in place while also controlling oil to some extent. I love that I don't have to touch up my makeup as often. I didn't really have any issues with it. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that as a lazy person, I find it a bit bothersome to twist open and close the container before work in the morning. But that's just me being incredibly lazy! I'm so glad I discovered such a great product! If you pat this on your eyelids before applying eyeshadow, it creates the perfect base - your eyeshadow will blend like a dream! It's absolutely fantastic. I've also included before and after photos showing how well it controls oil on my eyelids. - jh******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

So, I usually apply powder until my skin feels velvety to the touch. I've used various colored powders like pink and violet tones, so I was really excited about this product! On busy mornings, I used to struggle with thorough powder application, but with its 10-micrometer particle size, this powder makes it so easy to achieve an even application and color correction! Even though I have many other powders, I find myself reaching for this one often. I'm really satisfied with it! I felt that the powder puff material didn't quite match the product's particle size. One of the biggest advantages of this product is its fine, uniform particles, but the powder puff seems to negate this benefit. When using such a fine powder, it's best to close your eyes during application to minimize particles getting into them. - re*********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

(I'd been eyeing a lavender powder from another brand.) This was also my first time as part of The Hwahae Testers. Naturally, the ingredients are great! I was worried that applying lavender to my face might make it look too pink or purple, but when I actually used it, how should I put it? The lavender color wasn't too strong. It just made my skin look brighter and evened my skin tone! That was the stronger impression. As for the texture, the particles are really fine, so it feels like it goes on very smoothly. The pore coverage is excellent too. The puff is super soft as well, so overall it felt like an upgrade from the powder I usually use. The staying power is great too! As described and true to its ingredients, it feels powdery on the outside but hydrated on the inside. Even when I accidentally applied it too thickly, I don't think I felt any dryness! It was nice to be able to use it in winter without feeling dry. Also, like most cushion compacts, there's a separator between the powder and the puff so they don't touch directly! It's hygienic - good thinking. Highly recommended!!! I think I'll use it well to the very end. As I mentioned briefly above, I found it difficult to control the amount... Since powder shouldn't be applied too thickly, controlling the amount is essential, but personally, I find the mesh format makes it harder to control the amount.. sigh. I control the amount by using it on a tissue! After foundation or cushion, I apply powder, then blush and contour. Oh, and when I first used it, there was something like a seal, or should I say a paper barrier in the middle? I used it as is, thinking that was how it's supposed to be, but after looking it up, I found out you're supposed to remove the paper in the middle before using it. - li*******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I love it so much! You absolutely must buy this! Perhaps because I have dry skin, it feels a bit drying and there's quite a bit of excess powder. It's a bit disappointing. - sk*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It has a floral scent. While not unpleasant, those sensitive to fragrances might find it a bit intense. - en************Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 6, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It gave a naturally brightened appearance. ✔️ Velvety finish - It effectively controlled oil, keeping makeup from caking and maintaining a smooth feel. It wasn't heavy, so there was no suffocating sensation. ✔️ Excellent adherence without flaking - Despite being a powder, it felt like it clung to the skin without flaking or clumping. It finished cleanly even when applied over foundation. ✔️ Long-lasting smoothness without dryness - Initially smooth, it didn't flake or dry out over time. I liked that it controlled oil without becoming too matte. ✔️ No blemish coverage - As it's not a covering powder, it couldn't hide redness or blemishes. It's best used for setting foundation firmly. ✔️ May be drying on matte skin - While perfect for oily skin, I felt some deep dryness on days when my skin was already dry. For dry skin types, it might be better to use only on specific areas. 1. More natural with a brush - Applying lightly with a brush rather than a puff resulted in a much more natural adherence. I applied multiple thin layers to avoid a cakey finish. 2. Focus on T-zone & oily areas - To prevent an overly matte look, I applied it mainly on my nose and forehead. This kept shine at bay all day. 3. Use with makeup fixer - Spraying a fixer at the end helped the makeup last longer without flaking. It added moisture, preventing deep dryness too. - hj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 5, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It smooths out the skin texture, making it look velvety and flawless. I tend to get quite oily in the afternoon, but this powder controls excess oil without causing any tightness or dryness, leaving my skin feeling comfortable. On days when I use this powder, my makeup lasts longer and there's less darkening, which is great. The powder puff is soft and picks up the product well, making application a breeze. If you use too much, it can look dry or create excess powder fallout, so it's best to apply it with a light hand. I have combination-oily skin, and as long as I control the amount, I don't find any significant drawbacks. In the morning, I use the puff, but when I'm doing a more elaborate makeup look, I like to use a powder brush. I tap off the excess and apply it that way - it helps control the amount and gives a more beautiful skin finish.
