Since it's so inexpensive, the moisturizing effect isn't extraordinary. I naturally have dry lips, and when I use the Uriage lip balm, it almost completely eliminates dead skin cells and leaves my lips hydrated. This one doesn't quite reach that level. It feels a bit greasy, as if the product doesn't fully absorb into the skin and just sits on top like oil. Still, it's okay if you apply it frequently.

Great value for money. I bought it because it was affordable, and it turned out to be quite hydrating. The quantity seems generous too.

No downsides to speak of! This is my fourth purchase, but I've noticed it seems less visible in stores than I'd expect.
