The formula combines a tint and lip gloss, applying as lightly as a thin tint while offering the shine of a gloss. It's not heavily pigmented, which is great for those who dislike the darkening effect when reapplying other glossy tints. The color doesn't build up or darken with multiple layers.

While it's not long-lasting, it doesn't disappear instantly either. The 'Mauve Ball' shade has less purple undertones than expected and feels slightly warm. On my lips, it left a slightly warm-toned stain. This shade would appeal to those who like a lukewarm feel and have a deep undertone.

While I was a bit disappointed that the staying power wasn't particularly long-lasting, I understand it's due to the hydrating formula.

The color payoff is true to the product, giving a natural and moisturizing coating feel. I loved that it wasn't sticky at all. You can even create a water-tint effect!
