ProsThis vibrant orange-red shade is brighter and more orange-toned than shown on the product page, but without excessive fluorescence. The actual color on the lips is closer to the swatch than the lip swatch image.
The formula has a dense, creamy mousse texture, more similar to 3CE Lip Clay than the powdery finish of Wakemake or A'pieu. It's a mud-like texture in a pot-type lip product.
Despite its rich consistency, it's moisturizing and easy to smudge for a thin application. Among my pot-type lip products, this one, along with Holika Holika, feels the least drying on the lips.
At 6g, it's the second largest in quantity after Daisy'c, and it's budget-friendly at around 8,000 won, similar to Holika Holika.
Among my pot-type lip products, it has one of the largest volumes but the most compact packaging, taking up less space in your makeup bag.
Despite its rich texture, it feels incredibly lightweight. It seems to contain primer-like ingredients that slightly blur lip lines.
The scent is a subtle sweet and tangy mix, which I personally find pleasant.
ConsAs with all pot-type products, it's not particularly convenient for on-the-go touch-ups.
To use it hygienically, you'll need to use a separate tool for application.
Unlike other pot-type products, this one from Merzy doesn't have an inner cap. Personally, I prefer products with an inner cap.
Lastly, while the compact packaging is nice, it looks a bit too much like a children's toy. I think packaging similar to A'pieu or Holika Holika would be more appealing.
