Your skin type: warm spring, combination [T-zone oily], acne-prone I was very curious about the new color launch of the famous Hince Radiance Balm, as the glossy finish trend is popular these days. So I got the chance to try the Radiance Balm. The color is mysterious and very pretty, not too cyberpunk. However, whether I apply it directly or with the included puff, the base always seems to slip off... My hair also sticks to it a lot. It's so pretty, but I'll need to research the application method more. It's not as easy to use as I expected, so I had to take off one star. First of all, I am someone who completely spits out matte-type products. For lips, skin expression, highlighters, and the like, I tend to use glossy types or those with a touch of pearl to make my face look more lively. Whether fortunately or unfortunately, as I have dry skin, I prefer to use glossy types generously. In that context, I felt that this highlighter was just perfect for me. As it is a balmy type, it is soft and dewy, with a subtle pearl finish, which was just perfect. It doesn't look overpowering when applied on bare skin, and it provides a nice subtle highlight even when applied over makeup. It works great as a highlighter, and also as a subtle eye accent. Personally, I liked the way the color payoff looked when I gently melted it with my fingertips and patted it onto the desired areas. When I rubbed it on the back of my hand, I didn't feel a purple tone, just a subtle pearly shimmer. The photo shows multiple layers, but the white cast seems a bit too artificial. However, after finishing my base makeup and lightly applying the puff to the tip of my nose, it instantly gave an opalescent, pearl-like dimensional effect. The highlighters I used before were powder-type, but they were drying, so when I used the highlighter, my skin felt flaky. ;( While watching a YouTuber I often watch using the Hince Radiance Balm, I was so impressed by how pretty it was that I was considering buying it, and then I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, and I was so happy and surprised!! First of all, I was surprised by how pretty the packaging design is, and the mini puff that came with it was so cute that I almost broke it! It seems like Hince does a really trendy job with their packaging design. I agonized a lot over the color of the Radiance Balm, but the glowing and beautiful sheen made me decide to try it even though I'm a warm-toned person...! Luckily, there wasn't a big tone restriction, so it suited me well!! I think warm-toned people can confidently try it too! The thing I was most worried about, makeup lifting, didn't happen at all because of the moisturizing balm texture! It's not oily-looking either, but has a subtle glow like celebrities. Powder-type highlighters tend to crack over time, but 4 hours after doing my makeup and touching up, there was only a slight oiliness, and it didn't lift or anything (I'm very sensitive about my base makeup lifting).
Cons
If I had to point out a drawback, it's that when I first used it, I applied it a bit forcefully, causing my existing makeup to smudge a little. That's only natural, given that I just swiped the stick directly onto my face like an idiot! The mini puff is there for a reason!
