I'm glad I got the chance to try out the Radiance Balm! The color is intriguingly beautiful without being too cyberpunk-ish, which I loved. However, I'm not sure if I'm using it wrong, but whether I apply it directly or use the included puff, it causes my base makeup to pill... My hair also sticks to it a lot. It's so pretty, but I think I need to research better application methods. It wasn't as convenient as I thought, so I deducted one star. I think it would suit neutral to cool-toned makeup better than warm tones. The base makeup pilling... it's a serious issue for my skin. While I have a warm complexion and couldn't choose the color since it was a Hwahae Testers prize, I found that even with its slight purple tint, it still suited my warm tone quite nicely. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but even though I have a warm complexion, I think this color would be more flattering on those with cool undertones. The mini shell puff is absolutely adorable. If you want a more intense highlighting effect, try applying the stick balm directly to your face. For lips, base makeup, and highlighters, I always go for glossy or slightly shimmery products to bring life to my face. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I have dry skin, so I can freely use glossy products to my heart's content. In that context, I found this highlighter to be absolutely perfect for me. Its balm-like texture is soft and moisturizing, with just the right amount of pearl, making it truly ideal. It looks natural and not overdone on bare skin, and when applied over makeup, it adds just the right amount of accent. It works great as a highlighter and also as a subtle eye accent on the lids. Personally, I loved the color payoff when I gently melted it with my fingers, applied it where I wanted, and then lightly patted it with a puff. The stick format allows for hygienic application. You can use just the exposed part by twisting it up, then twist it back down. This keeps it clean and prevents any product from getting on the cap when you open and close it. It's also easy to wipe clean occasionally. And the packaging... I absolutely adored it! You can tell whether it's a cool or warm-toned product just by looking at the exterior! As someone with a cool skin tone who prefers cool-toned makeup, I appreciated this. It would be perfect for those with neutral tones or those who like to switch between warm and cool depending on their mood. The 'Gleaming' shade I tried is recommended for cool tones, and you can see in the photos that the part wrapping the product is silver. For warm-toned shades, this part is gold. Such attention to detail... I was truly impressed! Because it's a stick format, if you apply it directly to your face after your base makeup, it can cause your foundation to pill or move. Natural-looking Some highlighters can look too intense or cybernetic if they don't match your complexion. This product blends seamlessly with my cool-toned skin while adding dimension! It's especially great for creating definition on the apples of the cheeks. 3. Perfect pearl particles The shimmer particles are just right - not too chunky or overwhelming. They're perfect for adding volume exactly where you need it. 4. Great adherence and longevity It stays put all day without fading! Even though I don't touch up my makeup, the highlighter remains beautifully applied. Areas for improvement: After using it for two weeks, I honestly can't think of any downsides! Pro tips: 1. I was so pleased that it didn't give a robotic look, but instead created a subtle Inner Glow effect, as if the radiance was coming from within the skin. When I first opened it, I was surprised by the light purple color, but don't worry - it doesn't show up purple on the skin at all! It gives a beautiful, subtle glow, just like you've been drinking lots of water. The stick format makes it super convenient to use. It's perfect for touch-ups on the go - I love keeping it in my makeup bag. Compared to other highlighters I've used, this one gives a more subtle and natural effect. If you're looking for a bold, obvious highlight that really accentuates your features, this might not be for you. Sometimes it can look a bit chalky if you're not careful with application. When that happens, I use a beauty sponge to gently pat and blend it out. Also, because the effect is quite subtle, I often find myself applying multiple layers. This can occasionally lead to some pilling if I'm not careful.
