I received a coupon through KakaoTalk and tried shade 21. I always thought of NARS as a color cosmetics brand, famous for their blushers, but their base makeup products are impressive too. It's perfect for touch-ups on-the-go and great for quick coverage over sunscreen when you're in a rush in the morning. While this product does offer sun protection, it can look a bit cakey if applied directly, so I recommend using a sun base or makeup base first. The coverage is good, and being a cushion, it adheres well to the skin with minimal pilling. I've mostly used Korean cushions before, but NARS is definitely up there in quality. Perhaps because it was a sample, the cushion puff became tattered quite quickly. I'm sure the full-size product would be better! This review highlights the versatility of the NARS cushion foundation, praising its portability and ease of use for touch-ups and quick morning routines. The reviewer appreciates the good coverage and adherence to skin, comparing it favorably to Korean cushions they've used before. They note that while it offers sun protection, using a base product underneath helps prevent a cakey appearance. The only drawback mentioned is related to the sample size, with the cushion puff wearing out quickly - though they expect the full-size product to perform better. - fb******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 3, 2025
The top reason I love this product is its gentle ingredients, and the second is its impressive staying power. I even bought a refill! The coverage isn't particularly high. Since it's semi-matte, I've been applying it with a puff spritzed with facial mist. - al********Oily SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2025
I switched from using an aqua cushion, and the color expression is absolutely incredible! When used with a fixer, they work together beautifully. There's no darkening, and the coverage is fantastic. Among Nars bases, I think this one gives the most beautiful skin finish. Unless it's on sale, the price makes my hands shake... Please offer discounts more often! - xo*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMar 6, 2025
I switched from using the foundation in the same line. This one feels a bit lighter and more hydrating. When I bought it at the department store, they said it had better coverage than the foundation, but I find it's similar or slightly less. It's great for a lightweight application. I have sensitive, atopic skin, and this seems to work well for me. I've been using multiple compacts. The price is quite high, and due to the nature of cushion compacts, it runs out faster than traditional foundation. I have very dry skin, and if my base skincare isn't robust enough, it can sometimes look a bit patchy. You really need to ensure you have a solid moisturizing base. - ky******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2025
I've been using NARS Aqua Glow Cushion for a long time, but I decided to try their new product. As anyone who uses NARS cushions knows, we love them for their signature clear and transparent skin finish, though the coverage is minimal, so concealer is a must for blemishes. They say this new one has better coverage than the Aqua Glow, but I'm not sure about that. What I do love is how comfortable it feels on my skin for hours, without causing any dryness. Even with my combination dehydrated skin, it doesn't break down badly in winter - it just fades away gracefully over time. That's why I'm such a fan! When touching up, it can accentuate dry patches or dead skin cells. To avoid this, keep your skin well-hydrated before reapplying. If you do, it still goes on smoothly without feeling heavy, maintaining that clear complexion.
