It has a slick texture with some tackiness, but it's not an unpleasant slickness. The absorption is a bit slow. If you layer it twice, it can make your skin oily. I'd recommend this only for those with oily skin. It's great for when you don't feel like using a toner and ampoule separately. Even after layering it twice, there's still some dryness. It's disappointing because if you apply more, it might start pilling. This product works hard to provide hydration, but it may not be suitable for those with combination dehydrated skin or those prone to deep dryness. For super sensitive skin types, it's advisable to patch test first to check for any potential irritation or allergic reaction. Skin type: Combination dehydrated + Pores + Redness + Textured skin 🌿 I've been absolutely loving the water-glow cream from the same line as my go-to Hwahae product, so I immediately decided to try out their ampoule too! 🌿 My usual skincare routine was: Medipeel toner pads - Wellage hyaluronic acid ampoule - TheLab water-glow cream - Jung Saem Mool essential mist But I felt like I needed a bit more hydration! 🌿 After using: It's perfect for my nighttime routine! I love how it gives me that deeply hydrated feeling without needing to layer multiple products. 💦 However, when I apply it before makeup, it seems to make my foundation a bit patchy, so I only use it at night now! ⭐️ Overall: Highly recommend for boosting hydration No breakouts or blemishes, just amazing moisture replenishment In my experience, it's not ideal under makeup, so maybe not the best for the "Hwahae makeup" trend! The patchiness when applied under makeup and its popularity making it hard to find in stock are downsides.

It was moisturizing... but I don't think I'll use it again ㅡㅡㅠㅠ I used this product and the next day my eyes swelled up like a crazy person. It wasn't even this bad when I cried all day long..; The culprits are the bubble mask, this ampoule, and the cica pad, but I think the cica pad is not the one since it was only applied to my chin area. So it seems like either the bubble mask or the other one is the culprit,, I checked Geminai and even went to Hwahae, and there's someone with the same rating of 1 star as me.. I really have to throw it away, I don't see any problematic ingredients on the ingredient list but I'm suspicious if the ingredients are really all there properly.... It's wonderfully moisturizing and gentle on the skin. For my combination dehydrated skin, it provides just the right amount of hydration. It's a solid, versatile choice that gives you great value for your money. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. It feels light when applied but finishes with a moisturizing effect, and the key point is its bouncy texture! I'm already on my third bottle and need to stock up on more. If you're expecting a typical ampoule, it might feel a bit lighter than anticipated. However, I actually prefer this since I'm not a fan of products that are too heavy or sticky!

After applying, you can feel the moisture building up in your skin, creating a translucent glow - it truly lives up to its 'Water Glow Ampoule' name. The texture is somewhere between a thin gel and an essence. Just a drop or two spreads easily over a wide area, and it absorbs well into the skin. It's especially perfect as a daily ampoule when applied after morning cleansing, as it helps your base makeup adhere much better. Even on days when my skin feels sensitive, I could use it without any tingling or irritation, which made me feel confident about using it regularly. The downside is that it leaves a slight stickiness even after absorption, which might feel heavy on oily skin types. As I have combination dehydrated skin, I only used it at night and reduced the amount for morning use. You may need to adjust the quantity depending on the season and your skin type. Nevertheless, for those looking for an ampoule that gives a clear complexion and provides hydration, this product was quite satisfying.
