It's gentle and moisturizing, so I'd recommend it for those with sensitive skin. It feels like there are tiny strawberry bits in it... I'd actually prefer if it didn't have any particles at all. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinFeb 7, 2025
The way it absorbs is top-notch, creating a hydrating protective layer that feels like it's wrapping your skin barrier. At night, I slather it on generously as a mask, and in the morning, I apply a thin layer to keep my combination dehydrated skin beautifully moisturized. Occasionally, some strawberry particles remain on the skin. It would be great if it spread more evenly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 5, 2025
When I apply it before bed, I wake up feeling like my skin's hydration is fully recharged! My makeup goes on smoother and my skin feels more supple. I love how quickly it absorbs since it's not a heavy formula. The granules don't absorb well and feel bothersome. The built-in spatula is inconvenient. The amount seems a bit small for the price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 14, 2024
Packaging: The product comes in a lovely pink container as shown in the photo. When you open it, there's an inner lid with a spatula included. The overall design is clean and matches well with the product name. While it would have been nice if the spatula could be secured, it still fits in quite stably. Texture/Scent: It's an opaque cream with a white tint containing small pink particles. The texture is somewhere between a cream and aloe gel. It seems to absorb relatively quickly. The scent is a subtle mix of artificial and strawberry notes, but it's not overpowering or off-putting. Once applied to the face, you can't smell it anymore. Application: Due to its texture, it quickly absorbs into the skin, providing a noticeable hydration. There's hardly any rich feeling. It seems perfect as a final skincare step for those with oily skin in winter, and anyone except those with very dry skin could use it lightly in summer. As I have combination dehydrated skin, I followed up with a slightly richer cream after using this product. Personally, I felt it helped prevent skin roughness and the associated dullness, possibly due to how well it absorbs. Overall: This product seems ideal to use right before your final cream when you need more hydration than an ampoule provides. It also seems suitable for those with oily skin who want to avoid a greasy feeling. As someone with super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any redness or blemishes after use, so I plan to continue using it regularly. If I had to pick something, occasionally the particles in the product don't absorb quickly and seem to sit on the face. However, gently pressing them in helps them absorb, so it's not a major issue. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 13, 2024
For me, this product didn't particularly stand out with any major pros or cons. It was just... average. The texture is surprisingly light for a night cream - more like a hydrating gel-cream! There are pink beads inside that don't dissolve easily, requiring some effort to work them in. It was decent for hydration, but the lack of richness made it feel insufficient to use on its own. The beads don't blend well, and I'm not sure about their effectiveness. Compared to other brands' hydrating gel creams, this one felt less moisturizing. Personally, I think jar packaging needs to have some outstanding benefits to overcome its inconvenience, but this product doesn't quite reach that level. On the plus side, it comes with a built-in spatula, which helps with hygiene. It might work well as a light moisturizer before makeup application in winter. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2024
✔️ Skin type - Combination dehydrated skin (super oily in summer) + blemish-prone (occasional small bumps and pimples). My skin is extremely sensitive, so I can't use just any skincare product. ✔️ Color - The cream itself has a strawberry milk hue & the beads are red. ✔️ Texture & application - Being a night cream, I expected a heavier texture, but it's surprisingly bouncy and gel-like, making it suitable for daily use. It applies smoothly like a lightweight moisturizer and absorbs quickly, which is great. It doesn't feel drying at all. The beads in the cream don't dissolve easily, so you need to massage it in a bit. ✔️ Scent - Initially, there's a sweet fragrance that I can't quite place, but it's not off-putting at all. I actually like it! ✔️ Every evening after cleansing, I apply this after my toner and serum. It gives my face a nice glow, and despite being a night cream, it's surprisingly light, making it perfect for daily use. I'm relieved that it doesn't cause any blemishes, so I'm continuing to use it with confidence. I wish the beads in the cream would dissolve and absorb more easily - that's a bit disappointing. I think this would be even better to use during the summer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2024
Bursting with hydration! This gel cream formula is packed with moisture! If you control the amount well, it's less sticky too. I thought it was only for nighttime use since it's called a night cream, but after reading the description, I found out it can be used during the day as well. So I tried using it like this: Day (Docto-Kingsberry-finishing moisturizer), Evening (Kingsberry alone, applied thickly). The moisturizing effect lasts long! Lately, my skin has been feeling really dry deep down, and even applying my usual products from last year wasn't helping. But when I used Kingsberry instead of my hydrating essence and finished with a light layer of moisturizer, I didn't feel dry all day long! Even when I used it as an overnight hydrating mask, I didn't experience any dryness! It seems to refine pores?! While I don't have particularly large pores, they appear tightened and my skin looks plump! I'll need to use it more to be sure, but I think it's playing a part in improving my skin condition lately. No irritation! I have sensitive combination skin, but I haven't experienced any blemishes or irritation! The scent isn't overpowering or bothersome. To be honest, I don't have any complaints yet. I was worried about the capsules not dissolving well, which I've seen mentioned in some reviews. Maybe because my face tends to be warm, the capsules dissolve and disappear well for me. The capsules aren't hard or have an irritating texture either! For those who find the capsules don't dissolve well, try warming them up by rubbing between your palms, and finish by gently pressing into your face with a massaging motion. This might help! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2024
Usage experience: This gel-type cream is suitable for all skin types. It provides adequate hydration, making it not too lightweight despite being a gel cream. It absorbs well, and I liked that it wasn't heavy even when applied generously like a sleeping pack. For those with dry skin using it in winter, you might want to finish with an oil or a richer cream. Texture: It contains pink particles with Vitamin C and panthenol. When applying, I made sure to massage it in circular motions until the particles dissolved completely. Scent: It has a subtle floral fragrance that isn't overpowering, so it's unlikely to be polarizing. Drawback: The pink particles didn't dissolve as easily as I expected, so I had to press and massage while applying. I approached it as a mini-massage session to help dissolve the particles. - Hwahae UserOily SkinDec 13, 2024
Scent: If you're sensitive to fragrances, it might be a bit bothersome. But personally, it didn't bother me and I used it well. To describe the smell... hmm... it's not an unpleasant cosmetic scent? Texture and Application: The gel texture easily penetrates the skin and absorbs quickly. I thought it would be quite rich being a night cream, but it absorbs lightly and gives a feeling of enhancing skin texture. The more you layer, the more hydrating it seems to become! Even if you feel dryness, it's good to apply multiple thin layers. However, if you apply too much before makeup, it will obviously cause pilling, so apply thinly. For me, it's a bit too rich before makeup, so I'm using a different moisturizer. Red particles: I thought they would easily dissolve when rubbed, but you need to massage quite vigorously for them to spread. Those with super sensitive skin might experience a burning sensation while rubbing it in. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDec 13, 2024
The Hwahae Testers review: Overall impression: - Light finish - Smooth application - Great base for makeup 1. Texture: It has a lightweight cream texture with a slight moisturizer feel. I was surprised as I expected a heavy night cream, but it was completely the opposite! 2. Finish: It leaves the skin moisturized and firm, yet absorbs completely for an incredibly light finish. After applying, I thought, 'How can a night cream be like this? It's amazing!' The finish is truly exceptional. It manages to be moisturizing and firming while still feeling lightweight - this cream has it all. 3. Effects: To be honest, I haven't noticed significant effects on pore reduction or wrinkle improvement, as I've only been using it for a week. However, when I apply this cream, it gives my skin an Inner Glow. It's not a greasy shine, but a radiance from within that makes my skin look fantastic. 4. Hygiene: I appreciate the cap and spatula between the cream and the lid, which allows for hygienic use. There wasn't really anything negative to point out, but if I had to mention something, the particles in the cream don't dissolve very easily, which can be a bit inconvenient. Try using it before applying makeup. It makes your skin so firm that your makeup applies beautifully. It's the best!
