It absorbs beautifully. When my face feels dry after makeup, I gently layer this on, and after a moment, my makeup doesn't smudge at all. I used this for my dark spots, but I didn't see any improvement while using up the entire bottle. It's also great for reapplying during winter nights when your skin gets dry. I have thin, fair skin that easily shows freckles and blemishes, so I've been using this product since last December. It's even sold in pharmacies for improving dark spots! Thanks to the brightening properties of rice ferment, it's rumored to help with dull complexion. I was pleasantly surprised by how hydrating it is and how it noticeably evened out my skin tone. I'm quite satisfied with this product! 1. Light cream texture with a fresh feel Despite its name 'Nuruk Balm', I expected a thick balm texture, but it's actually a light, fluid cream. It comes with a spatula for application, which I used initially, but later I just applied it with my hands. It absorbs quickly, leaving a light and refreshing finish on the skin. The non-greasy finish is perfect for use under makeup, creating a natural glow without pilling. Although I initially bought it for nighttime use, I ended up using it both morning and night without any issues. 2. Effective ingredients for improving dark spots and blemishes I had high hopes for the rice ferment's brightening effects, and around the third week, I noticed my uneven skin tone starting to improve slightly! While it didn't produce miraculous results like a dermatologist treatment in a short time, with consistent use, my skin became clearer and more translucent, making me reach for it again and again. 3. A multi-functional cream for hydration and brightening The Nuruk Balm not only improves skin tone but also provides ample hydration! Unlike many other brightening creams that can be drying, this product felt like a lightweight, hydrating cream that even addressed deep dryness. I could use it without any concerns. When my skin felt particularly dry, I would layer it on thickly as a sleeping pack at night, and apply it lightly before makeup in the morning. 4. Gentle, non-irritating cream for sensitive skin As someone with sensitive skin, I'm always worried about trying new products. However, this cream didn't cause any blemishes or irritation at all! One drawback is that improvements in dark spots and blemishes don't happen overnight, which is to be expected. While consistent use gradually showed results, if you're looking for instant brightening, you might need some patience. Overall, thanks to its hydrating formula, this cream should suit all skin types well. Especially for those concerned about dark spots and blemishes, one jar might not be enough to see significant changes. You might need to use it consistently for two or three jars to see substantial results!

I heard it's widely used as a dark spot cream, so I bought it and have been using it. I think I'll continue to use it regularly. The texture is smooth with an emulsion-like feel that's deeply hydrating. When I apply it generously all over my face, it absorbs completely over time. After application, there's no tightness, and it's enough to use just this after cleansing. I applied an extra layer on areas with dark spots. I feel like they've lightened a bit, though it might be my imagination. I'm planning to use it consistently for about 3 months for dark spot management. The scent is like fermented rice (?) but not unpleasant. It actually smells quite healthy... After using it for a week, I noticed the blemishes and discoloration around my nose and mouth have significantly faded. It seems to be working faster than other products I've tried. I'm now using this product to manage the dark discoloration around my eyes. It's great value for money and I'm happy with its effectiveness. I'm also using the cleansing milk from the same company. I wish it came in a tube. It has a built-in spoon, but since I use a larger amount at night, I have to scoop it out two or three times. It's a bit inconvenient... but not a major issue. At night, I apply it generously before bed. My skin feels smooth the next day, which is great. In the morning, I use about half the amount I use in the evening. It absorbs well without pilling when I apply sunscreen and powder, leaving my skin surface smooth.
