It's great for applying just a light layer. There's absolutely no stickiness. I've tried other all-in-one products from this brand, but they felt drying, especially in winter. This one, however, doesn't leave my skin feeling parched at all - I'm absolutely loving it! If you don't apply a serum before using this product, you might not get that intense hydration feeling
