This product is something I tried based on a recommendation from an acquaintance. While it does have a protective feel to it, it's not overly focused on that aspect. It has a lip primer-like feel, with a touch of lip protection. Just like there are tone-up primers, pore-covering primers, and primers that help with adhesion, this product also has a bit of that kind of feel. It seems to work well for lightly flaky lips, but I wouldn't recommend it for thick, heavily flaked lips. I would suggest this for lips that are slightly dry. After use, it helps with color payoff and comfortably fills in fine lines without feeling uncomfortable. Most importantly, it helps with the adhesion of lipsticks or tints, and gently smooths over flaky areas, improving lip condition. I don't have extremely dry, flaky lips, so I was very satisfied with using this product and will definitely repurchase it! It definitely helped with my slightly dry lips when I applied the matte lip balm!! - sa*********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 27, 2025
When applied before matte lipstick, it gently smooths out dead skin cells and gives a slight plumping effect to the lips. It's more like a primer than a basic skincare product in terms of base makeup. It's great to apply on your lips while doing other makeup. It's not a product with exceptional hydration, so it can't be used as a lip balm. Just as skipping skincare and applying only primer for face makeup is pointless, this product needs to be layered on top of moisturized lips from a lip balm, and then followed by lipstick to see its effects. Ideal for layering before applying matte lipstick. - ha********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresMar 14, 2025
It's not a rich, oily type like a lip balm, but more of a lip primer with a slightly moist and plump texture. When you apply this before a blurring-type product, it seems to help prevent dead skin cells from flaking excessively. My lips tend to be on the sensitive side, and this product stung every time I used it. It was especially painful when my lips were sensitive due to cheilitis and dead skin cells, so I had to stop using it after a few tries. - gi******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 13, 2025
Let me start by describing my lip type, which I'm quite familiar with: - Prone to dead skin cells - Lots of fine lines, so I frequently use lip plumpers - Always apply lip balm and exfoliate before using lip products The perks of this product: • Instantly calms the lips • Great for use before makeup • Convenient to carry around • Easy to use • Attractive packaging I received this product to try, and it wasn't bad at all! First off, it immediately soothes the lips and somewhat tidies up dead skin cells. However, it's definitely not as effective as a lip mask in terms of deeply nourishing or completely removing flakes. (Keep this in mind before purchasing!) Personally, I find it annoying to sleep with a thick lip mask that ends up all over my pillow. This product is great because I can quickly swipe it on before makeup, and when I apply lip products later, they go on smoothly. It's so easy to use that I find myself reaching for it often. The pretty packaging probably contributes to that too! The drawbacks of this product: • It's more of a 'serum' than a lip balm • It calms the lips rather than exfoliating them • It has a tint • It has a scent To reiterate, this is closer to a lip serum than a balm, so I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for serious exfoliation. It feels more like applying an oily serum to your lips! It's perfect for those who want their dead skin cells to soften and calm down without the heaviness of a lip mask. The product has a slight tint, so consider this if you want the true color of your lip products to show through. While it's not a huge difference, the product has a whitish tint that becomes noticeable if you apply a lot. (This isn't an issue if you wipe it off before applying other products.) Lastly, it has a scent - a slightly sweet and tangy one that might be hit or miss for some. Personally, I didn't mind it. Despite the lengthy list of cons, I personally would consider repurchasing once I run out. It's worth trying if you find lip masks bothersome! Recommended for: • Those who dislike heavy lip balms • People looking for a convenient, on-the-go product • Those who find lip masks too much hassle Not recommended for: • Those looking to use it as an overnight lip treatment • People wanting to completely remove lip flakes - oa******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2025
I loved how easy it was to apply with the tip and how it seemed to quickly smooth away dead skin cells Personally, I found the slight scent and tint a bit disappointing - si*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJan 7, 2025
1. Absorbs quickly True to its 'One Minute Serum' name, it feels like it's absorbed right after application 2. Convenient Its tint-like packaging makes it easy to carry around and apply on-the-go 3. Generous amount It seems like the product never runs out no matter how much you use..... The lasting power is really just for that moment.. Even after applying three layers before bed, the dead skin cells are still there the next morning... After using it for almost a month, I don't see any improvement in my lip condition at all. It's not particularly cheap, nor is it effective, so I wouldn't recommend it
