For my yellow-toned 21 shade with deep warm undertones and pigmented lips, I tried 01 Coconut Apricot. When first applied, it has a slight white cast that quickly settles into a cocoa color (with barely any coral undertones). There's minimal staining, if any, and once it sets, it becomes a beautiful nude cocoa shade. Recently, I've been dealing with flaky lips that peel like dead skin cells. Even after using a lip scrub, the flakiness returns quickly. When I apply this tint, it initially emphasizes the flakes, but then the oil in the formula helps distribute the color evenly over the dry patches (it absorbs well). Considering the price, it's a decent product that's worth using. It even has a slight plumping effect. There aren't any major drawbacks, and I use it occasionally. I just wish they'd expand their range with more diverse tint shades. While the reference photo shows coral tones, on deeply pigmented lips, there's almost no coral hue visible. However, this isn't disappointing because the light cocoa color that appears is quite pretty on its own. - 9v********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 6, 2025
The deep undertone is perfect for those with warm golden skin tones! It's such great value for money too. The silicone tip wasn't to my liking. It felt like it was sliding around when applying, and didn't seem to adhere well. Also, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be this way, but it made my lips feel a bit irritated!
