The I Recipe cleansing oil pleasantly surprised me with its subtle, refreshing citron fragrance that's natural, not artificial. Plus, with all ingredients rated EWG green, it's perfect for sensitive skin! 🍊Hydrating power of ceramides + yuzu extract Despite my dry skin that usually feels tight after cleansing, this didn't leave my skin feeling parched at all. Instead, it felt wonderfully moisturized! Thanks to the ceramides, my skin barrier felt intact post-cleanse. The yuzu extract seemed to give my complexion an instant brightening effect too!
ConsFragrance ingredients While the product has a delightful citrus scent, I was a bit disappointed that it contains added fragrance. Individual results may vary for sebum removal Unfortunately, I didn't notice significant improvement in removing blackheads or clearing sebum from my pores.

Skin type: - Dry, but not particularly sensitive. Features: - Strong yuzu scent!!! As the product name 'Yuzu Bio Cleansing Oil' suggests, it has a strong yuzu fragrance. It's not an artificial scent, but a genuine yuzu aroma, which I personally enjoyed. - Above average makeup removal power Compared to other cleansing oils, I'd rate its makeup removal power as above average. As you can see in the attached photos, after one round of pumping, emulsifying, and rinsing, all makeup except for long-lasting tints, waterproof mascara, and brush pen eyeliner was removed (3rd photo). After repeating the process, even the brush pen eyeliner was almost completely gone (4th photo). Considering that waterproof mascara and long-lasting tints typically require a dedicated remover, I found this level of cleansing power satisfactory. - Excellent sebum cleansing I've tried several cleansing oils, but this is the first one where I could feel the sebum during the emulsification process. To be honest, there wasn't much change in blackheads on my nose (I think pore strips are the answer for those...), but the whiteheads on my chin noticeably decreased. - Slightly thick application Personally, I found this oil to be a bit thicker compared to other cleansing oils. The product itself isn't heavy, but it requires a bit more effort to apply evenly compared to other products. However, it emulsifies smoothly once water is added. Advantages: - No deep dryness after use I usually experience deep dryness after using cleansing products, especially cleansing oils, but I didn't feel any with this product. It feels like it creates a protective layer that prevents dryness after use. At first, I thought it might be residue, but it's more like a light protective film rather than a heavy, slippery residue.
ConsDisadvantages: - Inconvenient pump Perhaps due to the short length of the pump, even a slightly firm press causes the oil to spray too far. The pump is already short, so if you press too gently, not enough oil comes out. But if you press too hard, it sprays too far. It took some time to find the right pressure.
TipPro tip: After pumping and applying the oil to your face, I recommend washing your hands again before emulsifying! It seems to help remove any bacteria or contaminants that got on your hands during application. Since I started doing this, I've noticed fewer blemishes on my nose.

A gentle and clean cleansing oil" Fragrance: I'm thrilled with the fresh and sweet yuzu scent. The subtle citrus aroma that wafts around makes me feel good every time I wash my face. Thanks to the fragrance, I feel refreshed at the end of a tiring day, so I find myself reaching for it often. If you're a fan of citrus scents, I highly recommend this! Texture: The texture is an oil type with just the right consistency, not too thin. It spreads smoothly when massaging, gliding effortlessly, and emulsifies easily when it meets water, rinsing off cleanly without any residue. It's not heavy, so it seems perfect for use even in summer without feeling burdensome. Cleansing Power: It removed even waterproof eyeliner cleanly with just two or three rounds of massaging. The finish feels oil-free and refreshing. For light makeup, I recommend it for daily use as it leaves the skin feeling fresh without dryness, even without double cleansing! Skin Irritation: Despite having dry and sensitive skin, I experienced no irritation or blemishes. I was worried because of the fragrance, but the ingredients are so gentle that it was overall very kind to my skin. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight and remains moisturized! Packaging & Container: The pump-type packaging is hygienic and convenient to use. The container is sturdy with a minimal design, giving a clean look in the bathroom. It's not slippery when held, providing a secure feel during use. Value for Money: Considering the cleansing power, ingredients, fragrance, and overall experience, I think the price point is reasonable. If you're looking for a gentle and effective cleansing oil, you'll be satisfied with its value for money!
ConsNote: It can sting if it gets into your eyes, so those with sensitive eyes should avoid the eye area when cleansing. The yuzu scent might feel a bit artificial to those sensitive to fragrances. While I personally find it satisfying, this aspect could be hit or miss for some people.
TipTips for use: Sufficient massaging (30-60 seconds): Gently massage in circular motions following your skin's texture. Pay extra attention to the T-zone, areas with blackheads, and eye makeup! Don't skip the emulsification step: Add a small amount of lukewarm water to your hands and massage your face again to emulsify the oil. Rinse thoroughly with warm water several times to ensure no oil residue remains! Be gentle around the eyes, massage last: Remove eye makeup gently at the end, being careful not to let the oil enter your eyes! Double cleansing depends on skin type: Recommended for oily and combination skin types. For dry and sensitive skin, consider using a gentle cleansing foam based on your skin's condition!

The yuzu scent is beyond my expectations, it's so lovely. The fragrance isn't artificial at all, but refreshingly citrusy, making me feel great while cleansing. First off, its cleansing effectiveness is unquestionable - it gently melts away even heavy makeup. But what's even better is that my skin doesn't feel tight at all after washing! I usually get irritation and blemishes from cleansing oils, but this one caused no issues whatsoever. It's incredibly gentle. It emulsifies well too, so you can skip double cleansing. I feel like my blackheads have actually reduced. I was shocked to find that the rough patches around my nose have become smooth. These days, when I'm feeling lazy, I just use this for cleansing and that's it - no tightness, no blemishes. The packaging is sleek, and the pump is convenient, making it hygienic to use. I'll definitely repurchase this. I highly recommend it to those with super sensitive skin or anyone looking for a gentle, hydrating oil cleanser!
ConsSo far, I haven't experienced any issues while using this product!

I'd like to share my review of the iRecipe Yuzu Bio Cleansing Oil. -Skin Type- Combination • Sensitive • Atopic skin 💛My Experience💛 -Texture It has a lightweight oil texture. -Scent There's a subtle, gentle citrusy yuzu scent. I usually don't prefer scented products, but this one is so mild and pleasant that it actually lifts my mood while cleansing. I didn't find it off-putting at all. -What I Loved When massaging my skin, I could feel sebum particles coming out, which helped with texture and pore care. It emulsifies immediately upon contact with water, making cleansing a breeze. After washing, I noticed reduced blackheads and smoother skin texture - it felt as soft as if I'd just exfoliated. This was the most satisfying aspect for me. Unlike typical cleansing oils, it didn't leave that slippery, not-quite-clean residue after rinsing. For my combination skin, there was no immediate tightness after cleansing, which was great. -Blemishes / Skin Irritation My skin tends to break out before my period, and in the past, using cleansing oils alone would cause a pimple or two no matter how thoroughly I cleansed or double-cleansed. However, this cleansing oil is labeled as 'non-comedogenic', meaning it doesn't contain pore-clogging ingredients. Throughout my use, I experienced almost no blemishes or skin irritation from this product. Still, for those with super sensitive skin or blemish-prone skin types, I'd recommend using it just 2-3 times a week.
Cons1. Due to its lightweight texture, its cleansing effectiveness isn't extraordinary. For those who wear heavy makeup, have oily skin, or are prone to blemishes, I think double cleansing would be a good idea. 2. The pump lock is quite stiff to turn, which made me worry about potentially breaking it. This aspect was a bit inconvenient.
TipApply an appropriate amount of cleansing oil and gently massage to dissolve makeup and sebum. Then, emulsify thoroughly with water before rinsing off.

The citrus fragrance is refreshing and soothing. Its lightweight oil formula emulsifies well and effectively removes makeup. With ceramides in the ingredients, I'm confident it won't compromise my skin barrier even with frequent use. I plan to continue using this product.
ConsThere weren't any disappointing aspects. It didn't cause any blemishes or eye irritation.
TipWhen cleansing areas with excess oil production like the sides of the nose, a thorough massage helps remove sebum, leaving the skin feeling smooth. Despite this, it didn't leave my skin feeling dry.

It's not overwhelming or artificial - just perfect. Being an emulsifying cleansing oil, I expected to reach for my foaming cleanser with slippery hands, but with this product, it feels like everything is 100% washed off during the emulsification process. If your skin feels a bit dry, it might not be a bad idea to finish with just this iRecipe Ceramide Yuzu Bio Cleansing Oil as your first cleanse. I brought it on a family trip, and everyone ended up using it instead of their own products. It's great that people of all ages can use it comfortably. When you reach the age of our moms or aunts, many tend to hastily finish with just a foaming cleanser, leading to skin damage. But everyone found this easy to use - just roll it on for about a minute at the sink, rinse, and it feels like it cleanses right down to the pores. I'm so happy to have found such a great product, especially nowadays when our skin is exposed to many harmful elements like fine dust, yellow dust, and pollen.
ConsDownsides? Zero. We all know oils are runny and flow quickly. Even with blemish-prone skin, I didn't break out. It's been a while since I've been 100% satisfied with a product.
TipFor squeaky clean, smooth skin, rinse with water until it runs clear during the emulsification process, then follow up with a foaming cleanser.

I always keep cleansing oil on hand since I regularly use cushion foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner. Texture: It's not overly runny, and I absolutely love the refreshing yuzu scent. Cleansing effectiveness: I tested it on tint, Daiso eyeliner (famous for being stubborn), and eyebrow makeup. In the first step, using only the cleansing oil without water, everything except the eyeliner dissolved. After gently washing with lukewarm water, only a tiny bit of eyeliner remained. Finally, using foam cleanser removed everything completely, leaving my skin spotless. Why I recommend it: I believe the most crucial factor when choosing a cleansing oil is whether it stings your eyes. Eye makeup is the most important to remove, but if the product stings, you can't properly dissolve the makeup and end up rushing to rinse it off. This product, however, dissolves eye makeup without any stinging sensation when you open your eyes, which is fantastic. Recently, I've been getting flaky skin on my lips, and this cleanser helps remove dead skin cells there too, which is an added bonus.
ConsAfter using it for two weeks, I found that while its basic cleansing power is excellent, it doesn't seem to have a significant effect on removing blackheads and sebum. However, I think the fact that it thoroughly removes makeup is already a big help for sebum control, which makes up for this minor drawback.
TipAs per the instructions, it's more effective to use the cleansing oil on dry skin for the first step of cleansing. This allows it to dissolve makeup more thoroughly. (I tried both with and without water, and could definitely feel the difference.)

ConsCons: • Disappointing cleansing effectiveness As shown in the photo, I applied eyebrow mascara, eyeliner, and eyebrow product on the back of my hand. After letting it set, I gently massaged the cleansing oil over it. Despite a lengthy massage, it didn't completely remove the makeup. You'll definitely need to use a separate lip and eye makeup remover alongside this product.
TipOverall impression: While the cleansing effectiveness was somewhat lacking, this cleansing oil's gentle and mild feel is truly appealing. For heavy makeup, be sure to use a lip and eye makeup remover in conjunction. However, it's perfect for daily use to dissolve sebum and cleanse the skin comfortably! I usually experience clogged pores and frequent blemishes when using oils incorrectly, but I didn't have a single breakout while using this product! I recommend this to those looking for a mild, pore-friendly cleansing oil for daily use. It works hard to keep your skin clear and balanced.

The scent isn't artificial, but a subtle yuzu aroma that makes cleansing incredibly relaxing. It's almost like having a spa experience! The texture is neither too thin nor too heavy, striking a perfect balance. It glides smoothly on the skin and effectively removes makeup. It even dissolves mascara and lipstick without leaving any residue. When it comes in contact with water, it immediately emulsifies into a milky consistency. Post-cleansing, my skin feels moisturized without any tightness. Thanks to the ceramide content, my skin feels incredibly comfortable after washing. Even with my sensitive skin, it didn't cause any blemishes and suited me well. While the 'fragrance' and 'texture' are great selling points, the real charm of this product lies in its skin-friendly ingredient composition. It's not just a case of 'contains ceramides~', but you can really feel that it's formulated to restore the skin barrier and cleanse without irritation. Ceramide NP, AP, EOP: This is the real key. Despite being a cleansing oil, it contains three types of complex ceramides crucial for strengthening the skin barrier. This means even those with sensitive or dry skin won't experience any tightness. After cleansing, your skin doesn't feel tight at all, rather it feels like it's been coated with a protective layer. Not only does it smell great, but yuzu is also rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, giving the impression of brightening tired skin. It seems to add vitality to the skin without being irritating, and with consistent use, I feel like my complexion is gradually becoming more even. Plant-derived oil base (e.g., sunflower seed oil): Instead of harmful mineral oils, it's composed of non-comedogenic plant oils, reducing concerns about clogged pores and blackheads. Even those with oily or blemish-prone skin can use it without worry. Essence-like soft finish: Looking at the ingredients, you'd think it might be drying after cleansing, but it contains moisturizing oils, so even after emulsifying and rinsing, your skin doesn't feel slippery or dry. It really feels like an intermediate step between cleansing and skincare. Pros: - Subtle natural yuzu fragrance - Thoroughly cleanses without leaving makeup residue - Moisturizing and non-tightening after cleansing - Suitable for sensitive skin Overall: Highly recommended if you're looking for a moisturizing and gentle cleansing oil! Especially for those who love yuzu fragrance.
ConsThe only downside is the pump bottle. It occasionally feels a bit stiff when pressing. Other than that, I'm 100% willing to repurchase.
TipFor best cleansing effectiveness, use on dry hands and a dry face. Warm it slightly in your hands before applying to your face for a smoother cleansing experience. For areas with excess oil like around the nose or chin, focus on massaging for 10-15 seconds to effectively remove blackheads. Gradually add water to emulsify thoroughly for a residue-free rinse. It's not drying after cleansing, making it suitable for sensitive or dry skin. Those with oily skin might want to follow up with a foam cleanser for a second cleanse.
