This was one of the three products I could use from that time. It's incredibly gentle on the skin.
ConsUnfortunately, it does leave a white cast... While it's generally fine, the most significant drawback is that it leaves visible marks where my glasses sit. Also, as time passes, it tends to feel a bit drying on the skin.
TipThis brightening moisturizer works hard to even out the skin tone, but it may not be ideal for those with super sensitive skin or who wear glasses regularly. It absorbs well initially, but might not provide lasting hydration throughout the day. Consider layering with a hydrating serum if you have combination dehydrated skin.

Here's what I loved about it: 1. The ingredients are fantastic! They've included soothing houttuynia cordata in the sunscreen, which feels like double the calming effect. 2. It gives a natural brightening effect. As someone who doesn't wear heavy makeup, this is perfect for me! In the photo it looks very light, but I applied just a small amount. You can adjust the coverage as needed. 3. The texture is smooth and absorbs well. 4. One of the reasons I use mineral sunscreens is that you can go out immediately after applying. Some mineral sunscreens actually require waiting time, but I confirmed that with this Goodal product, you can head out right away. 5. Great value for money. I got it on a buy-one-get-one-free deal for about 16,000 won on the website!
ConsI don't have any complaints. I'll definitely repurchase when I get the chance.

As someone always on the hunt for the perfect sunscreen, I decided to try this product after seeing positive reviews. The biggest advantage is how gentle it is - it doesn't cause any blemishes or skin irritation. This is crucial for me since I react immediately to sunscreens that don't suit my skin. I can only use mineral sunscreens as chemical ones don't agree with me, so I was pleased with how mild this one is. What's more, it doesn't leave the typical white cast of mineral sunscreens, and it absorbs so well that you might wonder if it's really a mineral sunscreen at all!
ConsHowever, I absolutely cannot recommend using this under makeup. I also wouldn't recommend it for those with very oily skin, even for standalone use. Firstly, while mineral sunscreens generally don't play well with makeup, I bought this because reviews said it worked well under makeup. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. It does absorb nicely and doesn't cause pilling when you apply base makeup over it. But as soon as your face heats up or you start to sweat, the sunscreen and foundation immediately melt together, forming little beads in your pores. I tested this with every type of base I own - matte foundation, dewy foundation, BB cream - but after about two hours, as soon as I got a bit warm, this would happen. And let's face it, who doesn't get a bit warm in summer? Secondly, this product is far too rich. It's hard to believe it's a mineral sunscreen given how oily it feels. I think they may have added ingredients to improve absorption, but it's ended up making it too greasy. There's a noticeable oily residue left on the skin immediately after application, which feels quite unpleasant. I always have to blot it with oil-absorbing sheets. Because of this, I think it would be too much for oily skin types to use alone, especially in the height of summer. It doesn't feel hydrating either - the oil just sits on top of the skin. In the end, this sunscreen is gentle but just doesn't work for me. It's neither here nor there, so I've relegated it to body use. However, it's too expensive to repurchase just for body use, so I won't be buying it again.
TipThe review highlights both positive and negative aspects of the sunscreen. On the positive side, it's gentle and suitable for sensitive skin, doesn't cause blemishes, and has good absorption without the typical white cast of mineral sunscreens. However, the reviewer found it problematic for use under makeup and too rich for oily skin types. The product tends to melt and bead up when the face gets warm, and leaves an oily residue that requires blotting. Despite its gentleness, these drawbacks make it unsuitable for the reviewer's needs, leading them to use it only on their body and decide against repurchasing.

As someone who's tried various sunscreens - from hydrating formulas to mineral-based options and even makeup-free versions - I can confidently share my experience. I rarely wear makeup, but I never skip sunscreen, applying it religiously 365 days a year. That's why I prioritize gentle formulas, hydration, and long-lasting protection. I started using this Goodal line based on recommendations, and I'm highly satisfied. The scent isn't overwhelming, making it perfect for a quick, everyday application. With just one bottle left, I'm already planning to repurchase!
ConsThere are no downsides. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't feel heavy or chalky, making it ideal for daily use.
TipThis sunscreen works hard to protect your skin without causing any blemishes or irritation. It absorbs well into the skin, leaving no sticky residue or white cast. It's great for those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin types. The formula helps maintain the oil and moisture balance while providing a natural glow. It's an excellent choice for your daily skincare routine, offering both sun protection and skin-loving benefits.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I prefer mineral sunscreens over chemical ones. I always apply mineral sunscreen except before makeup. What I love about this one is that it provides a natural brightening effect. Most importantly, it doesn't irritate my skin or cause any eye stinging. While it does set to a powdery finish over time, it feels more like a complexion enhancer rather than the typical white cast from sunscreens, which I really appreciate! For those with very dry skin, I'd recommend layering on more hydrating skincare products underneath. My go-to skincare routine: - Aestura 365 Cream and Hydro Essence - Carrot pads, Numbuzin Toner Pad No. 1 - Torriden Hyaluronic Acid Serum - Mixsoon Soybean Essence
ConsFor those with extremely dry skin, you might notice a slight feeling of dryness after some time has passed!

There are no particular troubles, and the slight tone-up effect is also good.
ConsIt's only natural, but if you don't wash properly, you'll get breakouts. There are no real downsides.

What I loved most about it is that the ingredients are relatively stable and gentle. While Clio is the cosmetics brand, it's actually manufactured by Kolmar Korea - a trustworthy manufacturer! It contains Houttuynia Cordata extract and zinc oxide, making it suitable even for sensitive skin, and it's a mineral sunscreen.
ConsThere's not really anything disappointing about it, but personally, I regret buying it in such a hurry that I missed out on getting it during a sale...
TipApply it generously to your face, neck, and arms!

It's a gentle sunscreen that didn't cause eye irritation and didn't pill when applied before makeup. I bought it during a 1+1 sale at Olive Young and used it to the point of boredom. While I'm planning to switch to a different sunscreen, if the new one doesn't impress me, I might come back to this one.
ConsNo downsides. It was a gentle, well-behaved product that didn't cause acne or eye irritation.
TipIf your skin isn't in great condition and you're worried about pilling before makeup, try mixing it with your foundation.

It leaves minimal white residue and spreads smoothly, making it easy to apply. Some sunscreens can irritate my skin or cause breakouts, but Goodal works well for me and I've been using it without issues. The gentle formula seems suitable even for sensitive skin types.
ConsWhen applied before makeup, it tends to pill a bit around the brow area and T-zone. I found using a damp beauty sponge helps to blend it in better.
