It's not bad, just okay I was originally planning to buy Goodal's hydrating sunscreen, but I got this one because it was on a buy-one-get-one-free deal It feels a bit stiff on the skin The product itself isn't bad, aside from the stiff application... But I guess that's something we have to accept with mineral sunscreens The texture is somewhat rigid when applying, which is a common characteristic of mineral sunscreens. Despite this, the overall quality of the product is decent. If you're looking for a mineral sunscreen option, this might be worth trying, especially considering the value for money with the promotional offer. - de******Dry SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 10, 2025
As someone who prefers mineral sunscreens, I did my research before buying this one! Here's what I loved about it: 1. The ingredients are fantastic! They've included soothing houttuynia cordata in the sunscreen, which feels like double the calming effect. 2. It gives a natural brightening effect. As someone who doesn't wear heavy makeup, this is perfect for me! In the photo it looks very light, but I applied just a small amount. You can adjust the coverage as needed. 3. The texture is smooth and absorbs well. 4. One of the reasons I use mineral sunscreens is that you can go out immediately after applying. Some mineral sunscreens actually require waiting time, but I confirmed that with this Goodal product, you can head out right away. 5. Great value for money. I got it on a buy-one-get-one-free deal for about 16,000 won on the website! I don't have any complaints. I'll definitely repurchase when I get the chance. - ba*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 9, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin with large pores and redness, and my skin is super sensitive. As someone always on the hunt for the perfect sunscreen, I decided to try this product after seeing positive reviews. The biggest advantage is how gentle it is - it doesn't cause any blemishes or skin irritation. This is crucial for me since I react immediately to sunscreens that don't suit my skin. I can only use mineral sunscreens as chemical ones don't agree with me, so I was pleased with how mild this one is. What's more, it doesn't leave the typical white cast of mineral sunscreens, and it absorbs so well that you might wonder if it's really a mineral sunscreen at all! However, I absolutely cannot recommend using this under makeup. I also wouldn't recommend it for those with very oily skin, even for standalone use. Firstly, while mineral sunscreens generally don't play well with makeup, I bought this because reviews said it worked well under makeup. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. It does absorb nicely and doesn't cause pilling when you apply base makeup over it. But as soon as your face heats up or you start to sweat, the sunscreen and foundation immediately melt together, forming little beads in your pores. I tested this with every type of base I own - matte foundation, dewy foundation, BB cream - but after about two hours, as soon as I got a bit warm, this would happen. And let's face it, who doesn't get a bit warm in summer? Secondly, this product is far too rich. It's hard to believe it's a mineral sunscreen given how oily it feels. I think they may have added ingredients to improve absorption, but it's ended up making it too greasy. There's a noticeable oily residue left on the skin immediately after application, which feels quite unpleasant. I always have to blot it with oil-absorbing sheets. Because of this, I think it would be too much for oily skin types to use alone, especially in the height of summer. It doesn't feel hydrating either - the oil just sits on top of the skin. In the end, this sunscreen is gentle but just doesn't work for me. It's neither here nor there, so I've relegated it to body use. However, it's too expensive to repurchase just for body use, so I won't be buying it again. The review highlights both positive and negative aspects of the sunscreen. On the positive side, it's gentle and suitable for sensitive skin, doesn't cause blemishes, and has good absorption without the typical white cast of mineral sunscreens. However, the reviewer found it problematic for use under makeup and too rich for oily skin types. The product tends to melt and bead up when the face gets warm, and leaves an oily residue that requires blotting. Despite its gentleness, these drawbacks make it unsuitable for the reviewer's needs, leading them to use it only on their body and decide against repurchasing. - se******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 8, 2025
As a mineral sunscreen, it may not feel as hydrating as physical sunscreens, but among the mineral sunscreens I've tried, this one feels the least heavy and works well as a makeup base! It has minimal white cast and almost no scent, making it easy to apply. It's perfect for use on the neck too! When I first discovered this product, I loved it so much that I kept using it. However, after trying physical sunscreens, I became addicted to their moisturizer-like texture and quick absorption, so I found myself reaching for this one less often... I plan to use it on my neck this summer. The reviewer compares mineral and physical sunscreens, noting that while this mineral sunscreen may not be as hydrating, it performs well for its category. They appreciate its lightweight feel, compatibility with makeup, and lack of white cast and scent. However, after experiencing physical sunscreens, they prefer those for their more hydrating texture and faster absorption. They now plan to use this product primarily on their neck during summer. - by*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 7, 2025
I've been using this for about two months, and even though I have sensitive skin, there's been absolutely no tingling sensation. I also love how it doesn't feel heavy or suffocating when I apply it as a sunscreen. There's a slight white cast, and when you first use it, there's a bit of a scent. - 32******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2025
For a mineral sunscreen, it has less white cast, and using this hasn't worsened my skin irritation. I have seborrheic dermatitis and acne. While this product doesn't trigger my skin irritation, it does cause acne and small bumps to appear. Being a mineral sunscreen, it's probably difficult to cleanse thoroughly, leading to clogged pores. Even with double cleansing (cream cleanser + low pH cleanser), I felt it wasn't completely removed - there was still a slight residue after washing. This product definitely requires oil cleansing, which unfortunately doesn't suit my skin. It pills when applied, so you need to pat it in small amounts for absorption. This might be challenging to use during busy mornings. Additionally, being a mineral sunscreen, it leaves a matte finish, which might not work well with makeup for those without oily skin. The reviewer mentions having combination dehydrated skin (수부지) and being super sensitive (피부 예민러). They emphasize the importance of thorough cleansing to avoid clogged pores and blemishes. The product's finish is described as matte (뽀송), which may not suit all skin types for makeup application. - ol***********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJun 5, 2025
Gentle on the skin, lightweight application, and great staying power! As someone who's tried various sunscreens - from hydrating formulas to mineral-based options and even makeup-free versions - I can confidently share my experience. I rarely wear makeup, but I never skip sunscreen, applying it religiously 365 days a year. That's why I prioritize gentle formulas, hydration, and long-lasting protection. I started using this Goodal line based on recommendations, and I'm highly satisfied. The scent isn't overwhelming, making it perfect for a quick, everyday application. With just one bottle left, I'm already planning to repurchase! There are no downsides. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't feel heavy or chalky, making it ideal for daily use. This sunscreen works hard to protect your skin without causing any blemishes or irritation. It absorbs well into the skin, leaving no sticky residue or white cast. It's great for those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin types. The formula helps maintain the oil and moisture balance while providing a natural glow. It's an excellent choice for your daily skincare routine, offering both sun protection and skin-loving benefits. - mi*******Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 3, 2025
Perfect for dry skin! The rich texture absorbs well, leaving a refreshing feel. It's become my go-to during summer months. I'm still unsure how it plays with other products in my routine. The compatibility with my other cosmetics is yet to be determined. - cy*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 2, 2025
As someone with slightly sensitive skin, I prefer mineral sunscreens over chemical ones. I'm really satisfied with this one because it leaves a subtle white cast that gives my skin a brightening effect - perfect for those days when I just want to apply sunscreen and go. Unlike other mineral sunscreens that can thicken or develop a strange smell over time, this one maintains its refreshing scent until the very last drop. That's a huge plus for me! Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it feels surprisingly light on the skin! Like most sunscreens, it can look a bit oily right after application. However, after about 10 minutes, the oiliness subsides and it adheres nicely to the skin. - en******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2025
I love its rich texture! It's a sunscreen that's definitely worth using. It seems to cause a few blemishes. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination though.
