The main reason I decided to purchase this was the scent, and it truly has a subtle, lovely fragrance. It's closer to an acacia scent rather than tulip. The scent isn't likely to be polarizing, and it lifts my mood every time I apply it. The product also absorbs well into the skin. It might not provide enough hydration when your skin is particularly dry. The price point is a bit on the higher side, and it would be great if they offered a smaller, travel-friendly size as well. - rl***********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2025
Blemishes: As someone with typically sensitive skin, I'm always cautious when choosing body emulsions. However, I found the Artois product to be a safe choice. It has a pleasant scent and doesn't cause any special skin irritations, making it suitable for daily use. I'd recommend this even to those with super sensitive skin. Hydration: Even in dry weather, applying this product eliminates skin itchiness caused by dryness. I was quite satisfied with its moisturizing effect. Fragrance: I believe the biggest advantage of Artois products is their long-lasting, intense scent. This La Tulipe product was a new fragrance experience for me. If you prefer sweet floral scents, this might be to your liking. As I continued using it, the scent became more familiar, but personally, I found it somewhat reminiscent of an artificial floral fragrance, which was a bit disappointing. Texture: The product has a white cream texture that spreads smoothly and absorbs well, which I appreciate. It's neither too rich nor heavy in application, making it a go-to product for daily use. Packaging: The tube format allows for easy control of the amount used and feels more hygienic compared to jar packaging. The fragrance was quite disappointing. I usually use the Jardin or Velvet products from this brand, but compared to Jardin, this one had a stronger artificial scent, which was a significant letdown. (That's why I deducted one star.)
