As someone with a cool undertone (17-19 shade), it doesn't darken my complexion The base color applies more intensely than expected, making it look excessive. Rather than using it all over the forehead, cheekbones, nose, and chin, it's better as a highlight It works well on the tip of the nose, philtrum, and cupid's bow - oh********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 16, 2025
You might think purple highlighter is tricky to use, but this one is so subtle that I've been using it daily. It's perfect for applying to the inner corners of the eyes or the bridge of the nose. The glow is a bit on the subtle side, and its staying power isn't the strongest. - ys******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 8, 2025
* Shades 11-13 are prone to dullness, ideal for cool undertones * My favorite purple beam MAC Soft Frost, Cezanne Romance Bloom, Esprique PU100 This highlighter isn't a pure blue-violet, but rather a reddish-purple with pink and blue pearl accents. If you're looking for something similar, it's like the Etude House Dreamy Detective Case (new version) without the base color. If you were expecting a vivid, reflective blue-violet, you might be disappointed. However, Twilight has its own charm, distinct from pink beams, which I find satisfying. The color is quite intense, so it's not suitable for the nose bridge, but perfect for the inner corners of the eyes and cheekbones. The texture is very similar to Laqa, a wet-type formula. It's not a finely milled, densely reflective highlighter, but closer to a shimmer eyeshadow with sparse glitter. Rather than a 'beam' that gives dimension and radiance, it's more of a pearl eyeshadow type that adds subtle complexity with color. I'm impressed that they quickly responded to consumer feedback about the product breaking easily by adding a sponge buffer - that's great customer service! While TWOONE's price-to-quality ratio is good, and I plan to repurchase in the future, personally, I find that a silky semi-matte finish (pearl to bone broth glow) suits my face better than a dewy, wet look. As a result, I don't reach for this product very often.
