  After 3 weeks of use: Absolutely thrilled with the results! For my combination dehydrated skin, this product is a game-changer. Without proper hydration, my skin tends to get oily, and I often experience redness. The soothing effect is phenomenal! Initially, I was concerned about the thick texture when pumping it out, wondering if it would suit me. But those worries were unfounded. It absorbs beautifully, deeply hydrating my skin and leaving me feeling fantastic. I was moved to tears seeing how it calmed my irritated, red skin and quickly reduced blemishes. The gentle ingredients are safe enough for children, so I even apply it to my elementary school sibling. The improvement in skin elasticity is visibly noticeable. I wholeheartedly recommend this product!

  Absorbs well: It has a lightweight texture with a slight viscosity! One pump spreads easily over the entire face, finishing with a fresh feel without any stickiness. Absorbs well: Despite its viscous formula, it absorbs quickly! When applied after the toner step, it provides instant hydration. Hydration: The Glucamune Essence contains white jelly mushroom extract and beta-glucan! As someone with combination skin, where I have balanced oil levels except for my T-zone, I found this level of hydration sufficient even for winter. Recommended skin type: I think this would be suitable for most people, except those with extremely dry skin. Packaging: The pump bottle allows for clean and easy use.

  Hydration: While I found the hydration level adequate for my skin, those seeking intense moisture might find it slightly lacking. As for other aspects... I didn't really notice any significant drawbacks. Overall, I'd say it's a product that performs averagely well across the board!

  In my routine, I use it like this: Morning: Glucamine toner -> essence -> cream Evening: Glucamine toner -> Riddle Shot -> essence -> mask I find that Riddle Shot helps with absorption of the next steps, so it's great for nighttime care! I tend to get itchy if I don't moisturize properly. When coming inside from the cold or in warm indoor temperatures that can be drying, I need both hydration and soothing care. Storing it in the refrigerator and applying it cool helps pack in the moisture and calms the skin faster! I highly recommend it for summer too - it hydrates without feeling heavy on the skin, keeping it cool and refreshed in a gentle way!

  Here's my review after using the product for 7 days from February 23 to March 1. My skin type is combination dehydrated to dry, and my main skin concerns are texture and redness! Texture: The consistency is viscous but slightly lighter than a runny essence. It feels deeply hydrating and creates a thin layer of moisture that prevents the skin from drying out. It's perfect for applying before bed after cleansing, and for those who want a less rich base for makeup in the morning, you could even skip moisturizer and just use this! Redness Improvement: As you can see in the before photo, I normally have very red skin, and even with makeup, the redness shows through unless I apply a thick layer. The most noticeable improvement I experienced with this product was in reducing redness! While the after photo shows me wearing makeup and looking better, the redness hasn't completely disappeared. However, it has improved enough that it can now be covered with makeup. Hydration: I have combination dehydrated skin on my cheeks and forehead, with the rest being dry. In my opinion, this might be a bit rich for those with oily skin - they might want to use this as their final step without additional cream. For my combination dehydrated to dry skin, I applied this lightly all over and then spot-treated drier areas with cream. It definitely helped with dryness without making my skin feel greasy the next day or too rich. I'm really enjoying using this product!

  Texture: While not exactly a con... there was only a slight improvement in skin texture, but it's hard to say if it was due to this product. My face didn't become drier or develop more texture issues, but I didn't notice any dramatic improvement in skin texture either. Consistency: As mentioned earlier, while the texture is a comfortable runny type that leaves a thin moisture layer, it might not be light enough for those with very oily skin. I usually prefer lighter formulas and was worried about potential texture issues, but fortunately, it didn't cause any additional bumpiness.

  Summary: To sum up, I think this product is great for those with dry skin to use lightly, or as a final step for combination dehydrated or slightly oily skin types. I'm very satisfied with this product due to its good moisturizing effects, improvement in redness, and skin-soothing properties! Also, when applied lightly before makeup, it creates a great base for foundation to adhere to!

It was moisturizing when applied, probably due to its high hydration content. The finish is slightly tacky! It's not completely lightweight, so it feels like it's protecting the skin. However, the scent isn't particularly pleasant as it smells a bit medicinal.

  I've been using this for a week. For context, I have combination skin, but recently my skin has been extremely dry and cracked due to exposure to a very dry environment. The glutamine essence has a mucus-like, stretchy texture. Surprisingly for a product with this consistency, it absorbs quite quickly! As you'd expect from the texture, it's very hydrating. After just two uses, I could feel my previously dry skin gradually becoming less parched! I tried another serum in between and compared them - my skin definitely felt tighter with the other one. When I went back to this essence, the tightness disappeared. The product's effectiveness is undeniable! The product description emphasizes sensitivity testing, and I can confirm this. There was absolutely zero irritation, and 'gentle' is truly the perfect word to describe it. So if you have super sensitive skin, you can use this without any worries! Lastly, the reason for the 4-star rating is... I'm a bit picky. It didn't provide a dramatic skin transformation or leave my skin feeling super firm (I suppose this is because it's gentle enough even for babies to use).

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly bad to mention. Just for reference, it doesn't seem to have any effect on blemishes or acne.

  I recommend using two pumps - one pump doesn't feel like enough to really absorb into the skin.
