  Absorbs well: It has a lightweight texture with a slight viscosity! One pump spreads easily over the entire face, finishing with a fresh feel without any stickiness. Absorbs well: Despite its viscous formula, it absorbs quickly! When applied after the toner step, it provides instant hydration. Hydration: The Glucamune Essence contains white jelly mushroom extract and beta-glucan! As someone with combination skin, where I have balanced oil levels except for my T-zone, I found this level of hydration sufficient even for winter. Recommended skin type: I think this would be suitable for most people, except those with extremely dry skin. Packaging: The pump bottle allows for clean and easy use.

  Hydration: While I found the hydration level adequate for my skin, those seeking intense moisture might find it slightly lacking. As for other aspects... I didn't really notice any significant drawbacks. Overall, I'd say it's a product that performs averagely well across the board!

  I had the opportunity to try this product for about 2 weeks. I was impressed to learn that it contains 67% glucamine, which gave me confidence in its effectiveness. I was particularly pleased to find out that it's suitable for infants and those with sensitive skin. The hydrating essence gel formula absorbs well, leaving the skin moisturized without feeling sticky. Even after application, my skin didn't feel dry.

My skin is quite sensitive, so if I use the wrong skincare or makeup products, I can get itchy and break out quickly... That's why I usually prefer products with tea tree ingredients or very gentle skincare and cleansing options! ➕ Texture The texture has a bit of viscosity to it. However, when applied, it doesn't feel sticky at all and spreads smoothly on the skin! ➕ Application It applies well without feeling like it's sitting on top of the skin! It does feel a bit slippery, so I found that gently patting it in while applying helps it absorb better and really fills the skin with hydration! ➕ Moisturizing effect As someone with combination dehydrated skin, my skin tends to get dry in winter. But using a mist + toner + VT essence + moisturizer was perfect! The essence seems to have a good viscosity, so it felt like it was really holding in the moisture. ➕ Ingredients According to the Hwahae app, it contains absolutely none of the 20 caution ingredients or potential allergens! I didn't experience any blemishes or reactions while using it.

  ➖ Scent As you might have noticed from other reviews, the scent is slightly disappointing... I'm particularly sensitive to smells, and this has a faint glue-like scent...

  72-hour lasting hydration & soothes 5 daily skin irritations. Completed sensitivity test with no added fragrances or colorants. Clean mucin developed from white jelly mushroom research. It's a transparent liquid with a viscous texture, slightly mucilaginous. In reality, it absorbs well without any stickiness, leaving a coated finish on the skin surface. While not sticky, even two layers keep the skin from feeling dry and don't cause blemishes (I tend to break out when my skin is dry). It contains panthenol, allantoin, and squalane, which are said to have significant soothing effects. Indeed, I didn't experience any breakouts, and I could feel my skin becoming calmer. Though it's not sticky, it feels like it forms a hydrating barrier on the skin.

  Here's my review after about 2 weeks of use: I always apply a hydrating essence before my makeup, and the Glucamine Essence is perfect for my morning routine! It's not sticky at all and provides excellent hydration. The absorption is fantastic - it instantly gives me that coveted 'Inner Glow' and creates a natural radiance. What's great is that it absorbs so well that when I apply my moisturizer afterwards, it helps that sink in beautifully too!

  As mentioned above, while it's not sticky, it also doesn't feel particularly nourishing. This makes it a bit disappointing to use alone in the evening. It's also a shame that they seem to have cut corners on the packaging - it looks rather cheap, which is a letdown.

  Tip

  For nighttime use, I've found it works best to apply this essence first for hydration, then layer on a more nourishing essence afterwards. That combination is just perfect!
