Even when I don't use anything else, just this alone works wonders. (Though at night I do add one ampoule, and if you have dry or combination skin, you absolutely must layer other products.) If you keep this in the fridge and apply it immediately after cleansing, it instantly cools down your heated skin. It's amazing! Since I started using this, my blemishes have significantly decreased.
ConsThe major drawback is that while it's famous as an aloe pack, my skin actually reacted badly when I used it as a mask. (I tried twice, and both times my skin freaked out.) It's fine when I just apply it normally, but using it as a mask caused irritation. Ironically, when applied as a regular moisturizer, it actually worked really well for me.
TipFor those with super sensitive skin, it's worth noting that individual reactions can vary. While this product has been a game-changer for my combination dehydrated skin, especially in reducing blemishes and providing hydration, it's always best to patch test first. The cooling sensation it provides when applied straight from the fridge is particularly soothing for redness or that burning sensation some of us experience after cleansing. Remember, what works as a daily moisturizer might not work as an intensive mask for everyone, so listen to your skin and adjust your usage accordingly.

It's also great that it's alcohol-free.
ConsI have seborrheic dermatitis, sensitive combination dehydrated skin, and small bumps. I used this mask hoping to reduce redness, but it actually increased the redness and made my dermatitis worse. I usually tolerate aloe well, so I didn't expect it not to suit me. I think either this product just doesn't work for me, or my skin is currently too sensitive with a compromised barrier. I felt a slight tingling sensation when I applied it, so I only left it on for about 10 minutes before washing it off.
TipIf you've been diagnosed with dermatitis and are considering an aloe mask because aloe usually works for you, I'd suggest either patch testing a tiny amount or avoiding it altogether. It might be better to stick with barrier repair creams. I know many people dealing with dermatitis might be tempted to try an aloe mask out of frustration, but please be cautious.

The ingredients also appear to be quite good.
ConsAfter using this, I developed a few yellow, inflamed blemishes. I'm not sure why this happened, as the ingredients seem good...
TipThe review highlights both positive and negative experiences with the product. The first user appreciates the cooling effect and summer-friendly application, as well as the ingredient list. However, the second user experienced an unexpected breakout, resulting in inflamed blemishes despite the seemingly good ingredients. This contrast shows that skincare products can have varying effects on different skin types, emphasizing the importance of patch testing and individual skin compatibility.

However, within a minute of applying, I felt a tingling sensation. I suppose it's because my skin barrier is quite compromised. Also, I think I'm having an allergic reaction on my lips - they feel like they're gradually swelling up...

TipIn this case, the good and bad points are the same, as the review describes both positive and negative aspects of the product. The user appreciates the product's ability to reduce redness but experiences irritation and a possible allergic reaction, which are significant concerns.

It was really effective in calming redness!
ConsAt first, I tried using it as a mask by placing cotton pads soaked in the gel on my face, but it immediately caused closed comedones to appear.
TipInitially, I followed a method I saw where you apply the aloe gel and then place cotton pads on top for 15-20 minutes. However, this quickly led to closed comedones appearing on my forehead and cheeks. So now, I skip the cotton pads and simply apply a generous layer of aloe gel, leaving it on for about 15 minutes. This works wonders for calming redness, especially after extractions or on inflamed blemishes!

ConsAfter using it, my skin became too dry, my face turned red, and my skin was irritated. I do not recommend this for those with sensitive skin.

With its large volume at an affordable price, those who find it suitable can apply it generously.
ConsIrritation: Initially, it felt cool like any other aloe gel. However, after a short while, it started to sting. Dryness: It was surprising how quickly the moisture seemed to evaporate. Shortly after application, my skin felt extremely dry as it dried rapidly. Skin peeling: As my skin became dry, I reapplied it several times... which turned out to be a mistake. Eventually, the skin on my cheeks started peeling. If you've ever experienced the stinging sensation of chapped cheeks due to winter heating, that's exactly how this felt. I used this in early summer, and I hadn't been exposed to sun irritation. I applied the aloe pack to calm some small bumps caused by dehydration, but it ended up damaging my skin instead. I immediately got a refund and it took over two weeks to recover. Those with sensitive dry skin should be cautious. Note: While it was terrible for my dry skin, my boyfriend with oily skin had no issues at all!

My family members all say it works great for them.
ConsOh no! It seems aloe doesn't agree with my skin. I tried to buy the gentlest option possible, but my skin still turned red and became irritated. I'm so disappointed!

It didn't cause any irritation at all.
ConsWhile my skin felt soft and smooth in the morning, I unfortunately developed some localized folliculitis.

It's moisturizing like other aloe products, but has a slightly lighter texture.
ConsOn the first day, my face felt tingly, which I initially attributed to my sensitive skin being tired. Curious, I tried using it every other day, but the tingling sensation after application intensified. Blemishes started creeping up on my cheeks, which is disappointing. I bought this for an aloe mask routine because it was supposed to be gentle.
TipNot recommended for super sensitive skin...
