Quick summary after a month of use: - Medium color payoff - Natural flush on light 21 cool-toned skin - Not bright enough as a base - Moisturizing without clogging pores - Pleasant bubblegum scent - Subtle lip tint - No blemishes - Unbeatable value for money (On cheeks, it gives a natural healthy glow when used alone. And I'm not even a definite cool tone! Must be due to my natural redness.) The staying power isn't particularly impressive. The color payoff is weak for lip application. I'm satisfied with the natural look, but some might want more intensity. For a more vibrant color, try layering it multiple times with short intervals between applications. This will increase the color saturation. - gi*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 12, 2025
Finally, Son & Park has released a product suitable for light skin tones! 1. It has the same texture as the existing Color Balm shades 1, 2, and 3, applying smoothly without any base makeup pilling or settling into fine lines. 2. The color is a gorgeous grape shade. It's not a common blush color, which makes me absolutely thrilled! Unfortunately, this product contains Red 202, so those with allergies to this pigment (like myself) can't use it as a lip product. I tried it once on my lips, and it seemed to have a softer, more delicate color payoff compared to Sunset. Compared to other balms for truly light complexions, like Dear Thing Soft Baby and Son & Park Poppy, this one has a much more subdued feel! - ae******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 25, 2025
I loved how soft it was, making it suitable for both lips and cheeks! When applied to the cheeks, it gives a nice glow. Just remember to tie your hair back when applying, or it might stick to your face. I mainly use it on my lips to neutralize warm-toned lip products. It's a genuinely cool purple shade, so as someone with a true cool complexion, I use it as a rescue product for slightly warm, moisturizing lip colors. When applying it to the cheeks, it feels like it inevitably removes some of the base makeup underneath. The color is really pretty, but it seems to require a bit of skill to apply it properly on the cheeks. - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 9, 2025
This seems to be the coolest color. The outer shade is lavender pink, and the actual color payoff is just as cool. On someone with deep warm undertones like me, it creates an instant darkening effect when applied, but the color is so pretty I don't mind. I envy those who can pull off these colors effortlessly. The formula is moisturizing and can be sheered out easily with proper application! When I, with my deep warm undertones, apply this in full color, it causes facial darkening and magically creates a non-existent mustache above my upper lip that looks bluish-gray. It's a color that instantly makes me laugh. I might try wearing it when I'm feeling down. Full color application on the lips is quite a sight!
