The formula melts seamlessly with your body temperature, giving you a subtle and natural-looking finish that's barely noticeable. The staying power isn't great, and I'm not sure if it's because I applied it with a brush, but the base tends to flake off. - dh********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 23, 2025
Even though I don't often use highlighters, I appreciate that this one is affordable and easy to incorporate into my routine. It applies smoothly, allowing me to blend it seamlessly with my BB cream or blush for a natural glow. The formula is extremely creamy, which can cause it to remove the base makeup underneath when applied. The highlighting effect is quite subtle and tends to fade over time, leaving little visible impact. - ki****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinApr 17, 2025
Creates a natural Inner Glow effect with subtle shimmer, perfect for a discreet highlight. Not bad for the price of just $3. The base makeup peels off... Even after months of use, I still can't figure out how to apply it properly. It clumps more than expected and doesn't show up well, requiring multiple applications. However, applying it multiple times causes the base makeup to flake off. - zz********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 15, 2025
For a matte, velvety makeup look, a powder type might be better. This could work well when you're going for a dewy makeup look. I was disappointed that it wasn't noticeable after applying powder. I think I may have chosen the wrong formula for my needs. Use this product when you're aiming for a dewy makeup look. For a matte finish, opt for a powder type instead. - yo**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 10, 2025
I've been using this for about 3 months, and the amount is quite generous. Since it's a solid formula, the staying power isn't incredibly long-lasting, but if you reapply it throughout the day, the color comes back nicely. It's small and cute, making it perfect to carry around. Honestly, since it's a highlighter, I don't think it matters much whether you're warm or cool-toned, but they have up to shade 3, so you can choose whichever suits you best. There's nothing particularly negative to say. I've heard that Son & Park is famous for their cream blush? I'm planning to try that one too. I find it looks prettiest when applied on the cheeks and nose. Oh, and if you dab just a tiny bit between your nose and eyes, it makes your eyes appear larger. - mi*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessApr 1, 2025
It's soft and moisturizing... Not sure about the color payoff or staying power though I've never had this happen with my steel-like skin before, but this made the applied areas turn bright red and itchy - ay*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedFeb 3, 2025
Blending Flash The subtle shimmer creates a perfectly natural glow that's not over the top. It gives you that coveted Inner Glow effect. I'll definitely repurchase - this quality for just $3 is insane! Given the price point, the plastic packaging does feel a bit toy-like. - w8********Combination SkinAcne SkinDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 31, 2025
This highlighter is perfect for a natural, no-makeup look. When applied lightly to the cheeks, it gives a subtle glow that enhances your beauty. While it's affordable and decent, the effect is quite subtle. You might need to apply a bit more product to achieve the desired result. - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 27, 2025
The pot-type color balm from Son & Park has caused quite a stir, with people comparing it to a certain Chanel lip and cheek product. As someone who was also caught up in the hype, I was excited to try their new highlighter balm. I purchased all three shades, and in my opinion, the Clear Balm is the most usable of the bunch. The texture isn't sticky, but it has a slightly oily feel. It's a shimmery base packed with countless tiny silver pearls. If you're looking at the value for money at just 3,000 won, it's worth trying. However, the texture might be hit or miss for some, and it may be more suitable for those with dry skin. If you're curious about a budget-friendly balm highlighter at 3,000 won, prefer a subtle and natural glow, and have dry skin, I can recommend this. But if you're a highlighter enthusiast who knows your way around different formulas, you might find this product a bit polarizing. Considering the value for money at 3,000 won, I'd give it 4 stars. It's decent enough for everyday use. - dj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 26, 2025
This is simply revolutionary. Just buy it! While most other highlighters are powder-based and feel uncontrollable, flying everywhere, this one is a balm type. It applies precisely where you want it and glides on incredibly smoothly. It's a must-have for those who aren't makeup experts. Unlike other shades, it has a truly subtle color that's perfect for creating that Inner Glow look. I absolutely highly recommend it. The subtlety is incredibly appealing, giving a sort of Vaseline-like glow. There are no downsides. I'm just grateful that such a product exists, and from Daiso of all places! I sincerely hope they don't discontinue it.
