  Pros

  First off, this product is amazing at removing dead skin cells! I'm currently using acne medication which makes my skin extremely flaky, almost to the point of peeling. Add winter to the mix, and it's just awful. Gentle cleansers don't cut it, and I can't even wear makeup because of the flaking. That's why I tried this Illso Cleansing Oil! As expected from a brand known for their pore packs, it really gets the job done, effectively removing sebum and dead skin cells. You can feel it working as you massage it in. It emulsifies well too! Some heavy cleansing oils can cause breakouts, but this one has a light, fluid texture that didn't trigger any blemishes. Love it!

  Cons

  The only real downside is... I have sensitive eyes, and if this gets in them, it really stings. My eyes feel dry and I have to rinse them multiple times to get the product out completely. If you're careful to avoid your eyes, it's pretty much perfect in every other way. I had to take off one star just for this issue, unfortunately.

  After using this and going outside in the cold wind, I started crying uncontrollably as if I had some tragic backstory! I couldn't stop the tears... It wasn't exactly that my eyes were stinging, but they were watering excessively (though I was the only one in my family who experienced this when we all used it). It's unlikely to dramatically change your sebum production. This cleansing oil seems suitable for those with combination dehydrated skin who just want to moderately balance their oil and moisture levels.
