I'm not a fan of heavy oils, but this formula is lightweight and pleasant to use. It cleanses effectively and dissolves sebum nicely. However, it doesn't completely remove deep-seated blackheads. It's a bit disappointing that while it works well on fresh sebum, it doesn't thoroughly clear out older, stubborn blackheads. - eh*******Combination SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedMay 26, 2025
Skin Type: Combination dehydrated / Acne-prone Usage Period: 2 months Cleansing Effectiveness: ⭐️⭐️ Blackhead Removal: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Purpose: I used this primarily for blackhead removal and makeup removal. It seems to be more focused on blackhead removal than general cleansing. Additional Notes: The formula is extremely watery. According to the product description, it can be rinsed off with just water, so that's how I've been using it. Due to its thin consistency, there's no residue left when washing with water alone, and I haven't experienced any blemishes (though I did rinse about 50 times). However, if you emulsify it for too long, you might feel a burning sensation on your face - a common trait among cleansing oils. If the emulsification process is prolonged, it can cause a burning sensation on the face, yet its cleansing power isn't particularly impressive. When I tested it on waterproof eyeliner applied to the back of my hand, it took over 30 seconds of rubbing with water to remove it. However, it works wonderfully for blackhead removal. For those with super sensitive skin, be cautious with the emulsification time to avoid irritation. While it may not be the most effective for removing stubborn waterproof makeup, its strength lies in its ability to clear out pores and remove blackheads. Consider using this as part of a double cleansing routine for optimal results, especially if you wear heavy makeup. - 7v********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2025
I was surprised that the cleansing power was slippery at the end of washing, but it actually washed off gently and moisturized well, so I think it's good. The product is thinner than expected and I highly recommend it for dry skin. The product seems to be gentle in cleansing, so it may not appear to have strong cleansing power. Using a brush while washing seems to complement the shortcomings, so please use them together. - mi********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 15, 2025
The formula is lightweight and makeup removes easily. It has minimal irritation and seems suitable for summer use. If there are no shortcomings and the skin is dry, it may feel a bit dry. - qx********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 13, 2025
Ilso products are reliable and essential items!! I'm currently using Ilso's pore pack and cleansing foam, so I decided to try their cleansing oil as well! Ilso is known for its blackhead and pore care, so I think it's a great product for those like me who want to eliminate blackheads. Cleansing oil is essential for thoroughly removing makeup, and it gently removes makeup without irritating the skin, so even those with sensitive skin can use it without any issues (and since they've completed low-irritation testing, there's really no reason not to use it >_<). After using the oil to remove my overall makeup, I finish with Ilso's cleansing foam, which is a light, water-type oil that leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean without any stickiness. At first, I thought the product was faulty because the oil didn't come out when I pressed it, but I realized I just needed to twist the head to unlock it. This feature is great for traveling, as it prevents the oil from leaking if the cap comes off. I didn't purchase the accompanying brush, but the fragrance and moisturizing performance of the product are both very satisfactory. it would be great if there was also a sale with the brush gift benefit. - hr******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2025
I'm really enjoying this cleansing oil. It does a thorough job of removing makeup and impurities. I'm using it without any complaints. It would be great if you could have sales more often. - wl*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 12, 2025
Despite being an oil, it feels light and refreshing, and removes makeup effectively. The thin consistency seems to cause less irritation when massaging, which might be why I didn't experience any blemishes. I really liked that! It would be great if it came in a larger size. I'm not sure if it actually helps with removing blackheads. - yo*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 25, 2025
I'm on my second bottle of this product now. While using overly oily products can trigger blemishes for me, this oil is one of the lightest I've tried. It's great at dissolving sebum, and I really like it. I honestly can't find any downsides... It's truly fantastic. I plan to keep using this product consistently. - gk*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 25, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness is excellent! I've only ever felt my sebum being removed this well with cleansing oils before. While the cleansing effectiveness is truly great, I noticed that when I use only cleansing oil, I tend to get blemishes. So I only use it when I'm wearing full makeup, and stick to cleansing milk for everyday use. For those with super sensitive skin like mine, I recommend using cleansing milk with a lip and eye remover for daily use, and saving cleansing oil for full makeup days or very occasional use. This approach should work well. - mi********Normal SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 25, 2025
✔️ My skin type: - Normal skin - Slight redness - Acne and various blemishes appear once or twice a month - Sensitive cheek area ✔️ Daily environment: - Frequent touch-ups due to sweating - Wear a mask - Irregular lifestyle 🩷 Purchase reason: I bought a new cleansing oil as my previous one was running low. I chose the 'Illiyoon Super Melting Sebum Cleansing Oil' primarily for its ingredients. Firstly, I believed its gentle formulation wouldn't irritate my skin. Secondly, I felt the abundance of skin-beneficial ingredients would be good for my skin in the long run. 🩷 Review: I highly recommend this for dry and normal skin types. You must try it! The biggest advantage of this product is how moisturized your skin feels after cleansing. Honestly, I personally believe it's impossible to completely eliminate that tight feeling after washing your face, due to slight pH changes. However, after using this product, your skin feels so soft and hydrated that you might wonder if you've removed all the oil. You'll understand when you try it! While it doesn't leave a slippery residue or completely eliminate tightness, it's truly a hydrating product. It also cleanses effectively. I use waterproof mascara but don't use a separate lip and eye remover. A few gentle rubs with this product quickly removes my makeup. I can't specifically recommend it for oily skin types, as they generally avoid oil-based products. The initial pump that comes out forcefully each time is inconvenient, but this might just be an issue with the product I received.
