The color payoff has improved with the renewal, making it easier to achieve the desired look. The ingredients are great, and it doesn't cause any blemishes, making it comfortable and convenient to use. - jn********Normal SkinDark CirclesRecommendedMar 13, 2025
Great staying power and color payoff. Absolutely perfect for cool skin tones. No excess powder fallout! It might be a bit too pink? If you apply too much, you might end up looking artificial. - cj*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
I loved the unique purple highlighter. It's a pink-tinted purple hue with a subtle shimmer that's not overwhelming. The size is a bit too large, which makes it intimidating. I wish they'd release a smaller version that's easier to store and carry around. - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 16, 2025
The Frozen Crystal doesn't have as much glitter fallout, but there's a subtle, slightly heavy feeling on the skin. What drew me to this product was its cool-toned pink base with a hint of purple, unlike the typical warm pink beam. When applied, it's not a warm, soft pink, but rather a cool, almost icy pink-purple hue that's quite pretty. As far as highlighters go, it's decent enough among average options. While it might not quite meet the high expectations we have for Clio, it's okay for use as a standard highlighter! Areas where it falls short of expectations: 1. There's a subtle heaviness on the skin. 2. It feels overpriced (I'm not sure if it has an overwhelmingly impressive color, glow, or texture to justify the cost). 3. With the flood of highlighters released since late last year, this product lacks competitiveness in terms of performance, packaging, and size. It's disappointing that they didn't consider the current economic climate by reducing the volume to lower the price. If I had to point out a successful highlighter brand, I'd say 2an - they offer smaller sizes, decent texture, and a variety of shades, often on sale for under $10. That's their recipe for success, with almost universal praise! What consumers really want is a product with decent performance at an affordable price. (Size isn't an issue, at least not for highlighters.) - ze**********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 25, 2025
* I've tried two colors: 05 Peach Sapphire and 06 Violet Ruby. The transparent case with its intricate snowflake embossing is absolutely stunning. The design alone gives a high level of satisfaction. Both colors have a vibrant pigmentation, which might be a bit much for those seeking a basic daily highlighter. As I already own various highlighters, I was looking for something more striking, so I'm quite pleased. Violet Ruby isn't a pure purple beam, but rather a mix of pink and purple with a pearlescent finish. Compared to Peach Sapphire, it has finer particles, making it slightly more versatile. (That's in comparison to Peach Sapphire - on its own, it's still quite glamorous and not a super fine shimmer.) Its high-intensity pink-purple beam might suit those with lighter skin tones better. I find it looks particularly beautiful when applied as a spot highlight over a light pink-mauve blush. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase! The product comes in a large quantity, but you only need to use a small amount each time... I feel like I might not be able to use it all up in my lifetime! It would be great if brands could offer highlighters in smaller sizes at a more affordable price. - qh******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 19, 2025
The snowflake-shaped highlighter is beautiful. With the renewal, the mirror was removed and the product volume increased. The color payoff is about 80% pink, 20% purple with a beam effect. To be honest, it wasn't anything extraordinary. Since you don't really need a lot of highlighter, I wish they'd reduce the volume and lower the price accordingly.
