This sunscreen is the reason I've never used any other! As someone who doesn't wear makeup, I love how it gives me just the right amount of glow and brightens my complexion. Since it's a hybrid sunscreen, you need to pay extra attention to cleansing! Other than that, everything else is great. If you layer it twice, the staying power increases even more. - so*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2025
It has a nice brightening effect and doesn't make my skin as shiny as I expected. I think I need to use it more to really tell. For now, it seems okay. - su*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 29, 2025
I decided to try this product after hearing it was the first to receive a hard-to-get sunscreen rating in Korea! With SPF50+ and PA++++ protection, it offers excellent UV defense. I found it gentle and pleasant to use. However, I'm a bit disappointed by how rich it feels. It's so oily that it creates an intense glow right after application, which feels a bit overwhelming. This product doesn't transfer easily, so you can apply it up to your neck and ears without worry! Overall, it's a great product that I would recommend. - ad*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessApr 28, 2025
I've been using this for about 4 months, and I wouldn't really recommend it for oily skin! However, it works well for my sensitive, dehydrated skin. When applied, it has a slight brightening effect, so when I go out bare-faced, my skin looks moisturized with a subtle glow. There seems to be some pilling when applying makeup after this sunscreen, and it can sting my eyes a bit. I don't plan to repurchase! - gy*******Oily SkinAcne SkinApr 21, 2025
For combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin, the texture feels moisturizing when applied but becomes drier over time Am I the only one getting blemishes? Every time I use it, I get a new blemish. I wonder if it's because of the stearic acid. I didn't have anything on my face before, but now I have four blemishes, so I'm planning to stop using it - yr*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2025
My skin is super sensitive and prone to dryness, so when I used to apply just sunscreen, it would either pill or cause blemishes to appear one by one. Because of this, I usually skipped sunscreen when doing my makeup (I know I shouldn't!). When I had to travel to a hot country, I was searching for a sunscreen and happened to see an ad for this one. I bought it without much expectation, thinking it would probably end up unused like the others. But surprisingly, even when I wore a mask over it, no blemishes appeared! It absorbed well without pilling and kept my skin hydrated. People even commented that my face had a nice glow. It seems to have a slight brightening effect too, so I think I'll use it well. This is the first time an advertised product has actually worked for me! I've been using it for about two weeks, and so far I can't think of anything I'm unsatisfied with. It seems perfect for dry skin like mine, but honestly, I'm not sure how it would work for oily skin types... It applies well even if you just slather it on with your hands, but when you have a bit more time, it's great to use the Happy Rim moisture puff sold at Olive Young to spread it evenly. - ka*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 28, 2025
As a sunscreen nomad, I suddenly found my holy grail! I borrowed this from a friend while researching sunscreens for my Vietnam trip, and it worked wonders even there without pilling. As someone transitioning from oily to combination skin (though still leaning oily), this sunscreen doesn't cause blemishes on my face or neck. I've tried gentle options like Etude Soon Jung and Plantionary, but they always led to breakouts. This proves that skincare truly is personal. While those were good, gentle formulas, they just didn't suit me. This one provides a slight brightening effect while keeping my skin hydrated before applying cushion foundation. Pro tip: apply it on your neck too to avoid a tone mismatch! I'm definitely stocking up on this. P.S. For those concerned about slight oiliness, pairing it with the Neo Matte cushion would be perfect. I'm using a more hydrating Luna cushion now, which might contribute to the dewiness. It's inevitable that some oil emerges after a while, especially with my oily skin type combined with sunscreen. But the fact that it doesn't cause blemishes? That's a major win! - hy********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 21, 2025
First off, I highly recommend this to those with dry skin. Personally, I find it incomparably better than the sunscreens available at Olive Young. The entire HDPH line works well for me, so I bought this sunscreen as soon as it was released, and it's truly amazing. The brightening effect makes your skin look naturally clear... it's like achieving a pure, radiant complexion. I actually bought it without high expectations for the tone-up effect, but now every time I use it, people ask what makeup I'm wearing, so I look forward to applying it each time. It has a moisturizing, emulsion-like texture that absorbs well, making it perfect for quick morning application. It's a bit disappointing that HDPH doesn't offer discounts very often. However, when they do have sales, the discounts are substantial. If you can time it right, you can definitely score a great deal. - je*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinMar 19, 2025
It's moisturizing. Why? Because it's quite rich... haha! At least it doesn't irritate my skin. This hybrid sunscreen is a perfect example of 'all or nothing' - it's managed to combine all the worst aspects of both mineral and chemical sunscreens. I've never experienced a sunscreen that stings my eyes this badly. Even with most chemical sunscreens, I've never felt such discomfort, but this one makes my eyes water constantly. Moreover, the sunscreen clumps up in white patches or pills like dead skin cells... Goodness, I've finally understood what 'pilling' truly means through this sunscreen. I guess the saying is true - you shouldn't trust Instagram group buys. I let my guard down. Try other sunscreens instead. For mineral sunscreens, Anua is good. For chemical ones, try B-plain or Hiya. If you want a hybrid, B-plain is decent (at least better than this one). - ha********Dry SkinAtopic SkinDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 28, 2025
It brightens the complexion without leaving a white cast. However, it's a bit rich, so it might be better suited for dry or combination dehydrated skin rather than oily skin types. I don't have any complaints. I haven't had the chance to test if it pills under makeup yet.
