Since I have thin skin, I didn't want to skip applying around my eyes and risk getting sun spots, so I'd push through the discomfort. But this product? It genuinely feels like it contains only the gentlest ingredients. Whether it's because it doesn't dissolve easily in sweat or it's just incredibly mild, I realized something amazing after coming in drenched in sweat (I'm a natural sweater): my eyes weren't bothered at all! You know how some sunscreens sting when you apply them? This one has zero of those issues. It's like putting on a super gentle baby cream. There's no stickiness - it's more like a cream that your skin just drinks up comfortably. Since then, I've been reaching for this product more often, applying it meticulously even on my eyelids without any discomfort. I have dry skin, and I think this would work for most people unless you have extremely dry or severely combination dehydrated skin. It's not a drying formula, but it doesn't feel like it's sitting on your skin either. So if you're looking for a sunscreen that doubles as a makeup base or gives you that "cosmetics-friendly" finish, this might feel a bit dry. It's more suited for those who want sunscreen as part of their skincare routine before makeup.
ConsThe description claims there's no white cast, but there is a very slight brightening effect. It's not a clumpy white cast, more like it evens your skin tone by about 0.3 shades lighter. This isn't necessarily a downside - it could be seen as a benefit. I'm just mentioning it because for a product that prominently advertises "no white cast," it does have a noticeable, albeit mild, brightening effect.
TipFor those who only apply toner and replace moisturizer with a rich sunscreen: This product might feel dry if used that way. (I have dry skin) If you're looking for a sunscreen that's not sticky, doesn't sting, doesn't melt when you sweat, and just provides UV protection without irritating your skin due to its good ingredients, this could be the perfect product for you.

I can't use organic sunscreens due to burning sensations and eye irritation, so I only use mineral sunscreens. Hybrid formulas work for some things but feel just like organic sunscreens for others. Application: As it's a hybrid formula, it applies as smoothly as organic sunscreens. There's minimal white cast, and it brightens the skin by about one shade, so you don't need to rub it in repeatedly, which reduces irritation to the skin. It contains panthenol and ceramides, which are great for hydration, keeping the skin moisturized all day without any deep dryness. Skin irritation, burning sensation, and eye sensitivity: My skin has been a bit reactive lately with a compromised barrier, making it very sensitive. When I applied it in this state, I felt a slight tingling. It's less irritating than organic sunscreens, but not as gentle as purely mineral ones. After about a week, when my skin had recovered a bit, I tried it again and didn't feel any tingling. It seems mineral sunscreens are best when skin isn't in top condition. I didn't experience any burning sensation. As for eye sensitivity, it stung a bit when applied up to the eyelids, but when I avoided the eye area, there was no irritation. Some days, it was fine even when applied around the eyes. Compared to Dalba sunscreen, which always irritated my eyes even when avoiding the area, this one is definitely less irritating to the eyes. Sun protection: I applied it in the morning, reapplied after lunch, and went about my day as usual without getting sunburned. On makeup-free days, I always reapply in the afternoon. On days with makeup, it's harder to reapply sunscreen, so I didn't, but I didn't feel like I got sunburned then either. It seems to provide excellent sun protection. Scent: It's completely fragrance-free.
ConsWhen applied by hand, the capsule particles dissolve quickly and spread evenly on the skin. However, when using a puff, they dissolve a bit more slowly. If they haven't fully dissolved and remain on the skin, a quick rub with your hands makes them disappear quickly. Since I always apply it by hand anyway, it wasn't a big inconvenience for me. But for those who only use a puff, it might be a bit bothersome to have to use their hands as an extra step.

The unique capsule formula had me intrigued, and I'm happy to report that the actual experience lived up to my expectations. It felt gentle on my skin without any irritation, making it a comfortable daily suncare option. What's more, it doesn't pill under makeup, so it's become a staple in my morning routine. 1. Innovative Capsule Formula While the capsules aren't overwhelming in quantity, it's fascinating to feel them burst as you apply the product, seemingly melting into the skin. This unique sensation sets it apart from your run-of-the-mill sunscreens. 2. Application and Eye Sensitivity The lightweight texture spreads effortlessly, making application a breeze. It absorbs well, leaving a hydrated finish without any stickiness - perfect for those rushed mornings. As someone with sensitive eyes, I was relieved to find that this product didn't cause any stinging or discomfort around my eye area. 3. Makeup Compatibility Being a hybrid formula, it plays well with other makeup products. Whether I use foundation or cushion compacts over it, there's no pilling or separation. This seamless integration into my makeup routine is a huge plus.
ConsWhile it initially feels moisturizing, I noticed that it can get a bit oily as the day progresses. This was particularly noticeable in the summer heat, with my T-zone looking shinier than usual. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, by afternoon it looked more greasy than glowy, which was slightly off-putting. I imagine those with dry skin might appreciate this aspect more. The product's performance seems to be somewhat season-dependent due to its rich texture. Given that it's early summer, the quick onset of oiliness suggests it might be better suited for spring, fall, or winter use.
TipFor those with super sensitive skin or blemish-prone complexions, it's worth noting that this sunscreen didn't cause any breakouts or irritation for me. However, everyone's skin is different, so patch testing is always a good idea. Remember, finding the right sunscreen is crucial for maintaining a healthy complexion and preventing premature aging. While this one works well for me in cooler seasons, you might need to adjust your suncare routine based on your skin type and the weather.

The capsules burst and absorb into the skin with a moisturizing effect, making it perfect to apply before makeup without any pilling. It gives my skin a natural glow too. I was really satisfied with how it applies transparently without any white cast, and there's no dryness or tightness. Even with my super sensitive skin, I could use it without any blemishes appearing. It made my skin look brighter, which really boosted my mood.
ConsFor those who sweat a lot in summer or spend long hours outdoors, it would be nice if there was a mini version available for on-the-go use.
TipI use the Pure Tone Capsule Sunscreen as the final step in my morning skincare routine, right before applying cushion foundation. It makes my skin look smoother and naturally evens my skin tone, allowing my base makeup to apply much better. Also, I make sure to apply it lightly on my neck like a neck cream. This helps reduce the color difference between my face and neck!

It's suitable even for those with super sensitive skin. โซ๏ธApplication: Unlike many sunscreens that cause eye irritation or a burning sensation, this one didn't sting my eyes severely. I loved its smooth application, natural glow finish, and how it evens skin tone just right. While some organic UV filters have irritated my skin before, this one was fine. โซ๏ธPre-makeup use: Applying a small amount before base makeup worked wonderfully - my makeup didn't separate and stayed put. The lightweight formula didn't cause any pilling and played well with my other cosmetics. โซ๏ธCleansing: Be thorough when removing this sunscreen. On days I wear it, I always double cleanse with an oil cleanser before my foam cleanser. Otherwise, it feels like it hasn't washed off completely. Though frequent use of cleansing oils can irritate skin, I've had no issues since I don't use it daily.
Consโซ๏ธDue to the capsules in the formula, you need to blend it in thoroughly. โซ๏ธThe brightening effect is subtle. There's minimal white cast.
TipRemember to shake the product well before use to evenly distribute the capsules. While the tone-up effect isn't dramatic, it provides a natural-looking complexion enhancement without leaving a noticeable white cast.

As someone sensitive to cosmetic scents, I often avoid products with strong artificial fragrances. This one, however, is practically unscented, which made it feel gentler on my skin. After applying, I noticed a subtle brightening effect. Upon checking, I discovered it's a hybrid sunscreen - nice! The best part is that it washes off easily like organic sunscreens, unlike some mineral sunscreens that can be stubborn even after deep cleansing. This one rinses clean with just water, though it probably isn't waterproof. The sunscreen contains green capsules, which need to be rubbed in to dissolve. It's a bit quirky and slightly inconvenient for lazy folks like me. I felt they didn't melt as easily on cooler skin, but that might be because I tested it on the back of my hand.
ConsI don't have many complaints. Being a hybrid sunscreen, it seems to combine the best of both worlds. Oh, one thing - my skin does feel a bit oilier after application. It might get greasy faster as the day goes on.
TipThe product being discussed is a sunscreen with both mineral and chemical UV filters. It's fragrance-free and provides a slight brightening effect. The reviewer appreciates its gentle formula and easy removal, but notes it may not be suitable for those with oily skin types.

But this sunscreen is a game-changer! It doesn't irritate my skin and applies with almost no white cast, making it a go-to product for me. I'm prone to blemishes, but since using this, I've noticed fewer breakouts. And let's talk about that glow - it's incredible! Who knew a sunscreen could give such a radiant finish? I'm absolutely thrilled with this product! Key benefits: - Minimal white cast - Gentle on skin - Slight tone-evening effect - Perfect for winter use
ConsHonestly, I couldn't find any drawbacks. It adheres well to the skin over time, so I'm completely satisfied. However, it doesn't have a powdery finish. If you're looking for that matte feel, you might be a bit disappointed.
TipFor best results, try applying your foundation or cushion compact about 5-10 minutes after putting on the sunscreen. It seems to create an even more beautiful finish this way!

With SPF50+ and PA++++ protection, it offers excellent UV defense. I found it gentle and pleasant to use.
ConsHowever, I'm a bit disappointed by how rich it feels. It's so oily that it creates an intense glow right after application, which feels a bit overwhelming.
TipThis product doesn't transfer easily, so you can apply it up to your neck and ears without worry! Overall, it's a great product that I would recommend.
