Skin type: oily, acne-prone, pore concerns As I have butterfly zone pores as a concern, I have been using Retinol shots and Retinol to manage my skin, and I found the Retinol pore serum to be convenient as it can be used alone. It is perfect for oily skin types as it has a good oil-water balance and is quickly absorbed, not too watery, so it can be applied comfortably without running. The serum has more moisture than oil, but those with extremely oily skin may find even a small amount of oil to be burdensome. I only use it at night since it contains Retinol, and I don't use it with Retinol shots or other Retinol products. As my skin was used to using Retinol up to 0.5%, I found the Retinol pore serum to be a good daily lightweight option, but if you're new to Retinol, it's best to do a patch test on the back of your hand or chin before using. I've been using it consistently, and my Hwahae skin texture seems to have improved a bit. I hope my pores continue to shrink with continued use.

This is a review written after using the product for about a week! I have dry skin with pore concerns, and my skin is not at all sensitive.
