It's become an essential part of my nighttime skincare routine lately...! I was really worried that using a spatula would hurt, but this one didn't hurt at all!! I highly recommend it for beginners. I had a lot of dead skin cells on my face, but after using it for about 2-3 days, I noticed a significant reduction in flakiness, and my makeup started to apply much more smoothly! You can divide one capsule into 3-4 uses, but once you remove the cap, you can't close it again. You'll need to tie the lid with something like a rubber band...! It would have been nice if a spatula was included • How to use: Apply the cleansing balm all over your face and massage thoroughly > Emulsify with a bit of water > Rinse off > Follow with a foaming cleanser for double cleansing > Finish with your skincare routine!

Cleansing effectiveness This was my first time using a balm-type cleanser, and it removes makeup gently and thoroughly! I use it as my first cleanse, followed by a foam cleanser, and it gets everything off completely! 2. Hygienic Typically, I'm not a fan of balm cleansers because you need to scoop them out with a spatula or your fingers, which feels a bit unsanitary. However, I love that this product comes in individual packets! You can use one, toss it, and open a fresh one next time. The individual packaging also makes it perfect for travel! 3. Scent It has that distinctive scent typical of collagen-infused products, but it's subtle and pleasant. I enjoyed the fragrance while cleansing. One area for improvement would be to reduce the amount in each packet and increase the number of packets. There's a bit too much product for a single cleanse. It's filled to the brim in the container. When you first apply it, it comes out in clumps, so you need to spread it with your hands. It emulsifies well with water. It's described as a balm+oil+milk formula, but I like that it's not too oily. It cleanses sebum well due to good emulsification, but it's best to follow up with toner after washing. 1. The individual packaging is great for travel, and each sachet is generously sized - enough for about two uses. Another advantage of the individual packaging is that you don't have to worry about water getting in. 2. There's a scent, which I personally found quite pleasant. 3. Despite being a cleanser, it feels gentle on the skin and leaves it soft. I think this is due to its moisturizing properties. The amount in each sachet is a bit awkward for a single use, and the individual packaging can be inconvenient for daily use. Use it when traveling and split each sachet in half. At first, I thought, 'Is this really removing everything?' But after cleansing, I was surprised to see almost no residue when I wiped with a cotton pad. No tightness after cleansing Usually, after using cleansing oil or foam cleanser, my skin feels dry and I rush to apply toner. But with this, my skin feels moisturized even after washing. But it melts quickly with body heat when you rub it on your face, so it's fine once you get used to it. Still, first-time users might be a bit surprised. The scent might be divisive It's not an overpowering fragrance, but it lingers subtly. Personally, I prefer unscented products over artificial fragrances, so it bothered me a little at first. However, it fades quickly, so it wasn't a major issue. Use on dry face The balm doesn't melt well if your hands or face are wet, so it's best to start with dry skin. It's divided into single-use capsules, but each capsule can be used about twice. Opening it feels like peeling off a yogurt lid, which made storage a bit cumbersome. I was worried the cleansing product might be irritating due to the needles inside, but fortunately, I didn't feel any irritation. However, I used it very gently as I was afraid to rub it vigorously like an oil cleanser. Like oil cleansers, you need to emulsify this product too! The texture was like a candle, with an interesting crumbling sensation. I kneaded it a bit with my fingers before applying it to my face for cleansing. Perhaps due to the needles, I felt an exfoliating effect, and the cleansing effectiveness was great! It cleanses thoroughly, so it nails the basics! I didn't notice much difference in terms of hydration, as I apply other skincare products after washing anyway. No blemishes or other skin issues appeared! This product has several unique points. I've been using Banila Co products for a long time, and I feel this one is just as good. It's great at dissolving sebum, making it perfect for managing blackheads too. Texture Despite the name 'Tok Tok Shot 500', the intensity is similar to Riddle Shot 50. It seems suitable even for first-time users. Portability Coming in 6ml portions, it's convenient to carry one or two for travel. Texture While I mentioned the texture is good, here's why I also find it disappointing... As mentioned earlier, it has a similar effect to Riddle Shot, which makes me uneasy about using it around the eyes. I tried it, but I'd recommend others avoid it. No matter how careful you are, it's inevitable that some product might get into your eyes. Formulation Compared to Banila Co products, it feels a bit firmer. It doesn't melt easily with body heat, so I had to warm it in my hands for quite a while. Individual Portion Size Honestly, 6ml per portion seems a bit excessive... Once opened, it's best to use it all at once for hygiene reasons, but it feels wasteful. I only used half each time, but I think 3-4ml portions would have been better. While this might be acceptable for sample sizes, it's disappointing for a full-sized product. I recommend removing eye makeup separately and then using the cleansing balm on other areas, avoiding the eye area. Despite the need to avoid the eye area due to its similarity to Riddle Shot, the product is still great enough to overlook its shortcomings.

It's dry in winter and oily in summer! First off, I love how portable and convenient it is. The scent is quite strong, reminiscent of sweet grape gum. Though it looks like a solid balm, it melts instantly upon contact with your skin, as shown in the photo. There's plenty of product, so it cleanses thoroughly! It cleanses so gently that I think it's great for sensitive skin. The sweet grape scent is quite strong and lingers even after washing, so I definitely wouldn't recommend it if you're sensitive to fragrances! It feels a bit wasteful since it's single-use but contains quite a lot of product. I think it would have been better if it was half the amount. It's perfect for packing when you're traveling or need to stay overnight somewhere.
