I was particularly interested in this cream because it contains both retinol and caffeine, so I'm grateful for the opportunity to try it. The cream has a yellow color and isn't too thick, so it absorbs well into the skin. After application, it feels slightly rich, so I apply a thin layer to avoid overdoing it. Although retinol can be irritating, I didn't experience any irritation, probably because I was already accustomed to using retinol products. This seems like a good retinol product for managing wrinkles and pores. While I didn't notice a dramatic difference compared to other products, I think it effectively fulfills its intended purpose.
ConsFor my oily skin, liquid formulations tend to work better than creams. However, this product is fine to use during the winter months without any issues.

The texture isn't overly rich, so it absorbs well and feels moisturizing. Since I occasionally get blemishes when changing skincare products, I was a bit cautious about using it twice daily due to the ingredients. So, I only used it once a day (evening), and I didn't experience any skin issues during use. Comparing before and after photos, I'm not sure about wrinkle improvement yet, but my skin seems smoother. (Fun fact: I absolutely love the yellow color of the product, it's my favorite!)
ConsWhile the pump design is convenient to use, I was concerned about hygiene due to potential residue. So, after each use, I wiped the pump with an alcohol swab.
TipSince it's winter, I followed up with a generous layer of moisturizer after using this product. My skin didn't feel dry or show any redness, which was great!

It's great that it doesn't feel sticky after application. The pump container is hygienic and convenient to use (superior to jar packaging in terms of cleanliness). Though I didn't notice any dramatic benefits after just two weeks of use, despite containing caffeine and retinal, I experienced no major side effects and found it pleasant to use. My face seems to look a bit brighter each morning.
ConsThe amount dispensed from the pump can vary slightly, but it's easy to adjust as needed. First-time retinal users might feel apprehensive. I was able to try this product without worry since I hadn't experienced any significant side effects with retinol creams I've used before.

However, I'd like to share my initial impressions from this short period. First off, what I found most satisfying was how smoothly it absorbs. It sinks into the skin lightly without that heavy feeling typical of creams, making it very comfortable to use. Also, I didn't experience any dryness after application, and the hydration lasted for a long time. I think it would be particularly great to use during seasonal changes when skin tends to get dry easily. Another impressive aspect was the design of the product opening. Sometimes with creams, if the opening is too wide or inconvenient, you might end up dispensing too much or have to scoop it out with your fingers, which can be unhygienic. This product, however, is designed to dispense just the right amount, making it very hygienic and convenient to use. I've been applying it every other night before bed, and when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels moisturized and soft. I plan to continue using it regularly to see what effects it has in various situations. In particular, I'm curious to experience in more detail how long the moisturizing effect lasts with long-term use and if there are any skin improvement effects. Based on my experience so far, I'm satisfied with this product as it has many advantages including its moisturizing properties, how well it absorbs, and its hygienic packaging. I'll leave another review if I notice any additional changes with continued use!
ConsTo be honest, I haven't found any significant drawbacks yet since I haven't been using it for very long. However, one thing to note is that if you apply too much, it can feel a bit rich. This level of richness is acceptable in winter, but in summer, overapplying might make your skin feel excessively oily. It seems important to adjust the amount you use accordingly.

Although it's a cream, it doesn't feel heavy, making it comfortable to apply. It's moisturizing without being too lightweight, which made it perfect as a final step cream for winter skincare routines. I've been using an entry-level retinol cream before, so I used this every night for about ten days. While I didn't notice dramatic changes in my skin during this short period, I was satisfied to feel that my skin became more hydrated than before.
ConsDue to long-term eye drop use, the skin around my eyes is particularly sensitive. During the first 2-3 days of use, I experienced an allergic reaction around my eye area. As a result, I had to avoid applying it near my eyes, though I didn't have any blemishes elsewhere. Since retinal is inherently a potentially irritating ingredient, those with super sensitive skin should exercise caution.

Application and Texture 🧈 As someone with combination dehydrated skin experiencing extreme dryness to the point of dead skin cells pilling, I found this cream to be a game-changer. The texture is incredibly smooth, like melted butter, making it effortless to apply - a huge plus! Due to the retinol content, I only used it for my night care routine. 2. Hydration 🍯 For someone like me who usually needs thick creams for night care to combat dryness, this was a refreshing change. It's been a while since I've found a cream that not only absorbs well but also provides excellent hydration! The moisturizing effect is good enough to use alone in winter. On particularly dry days, I layered a richer cream on top of this one. It does have a slightly rich feel, so I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types. Highly recommended for combination dehydrated and dry skin types! 3. Hygienic Packaging 🍂 Knowing that retinol is prone to oxidation, I appreciated the thoughtful jar-type pump design. While I generally don't prefer jar packaging due to hygiene concerns, this one satisfied me as you just need to press to dispense the product. You might need to disassemble it when it's almost empty, but that's a minor inconvenience. The packaging is also quite sophisticated!
ConsThe next day, when wiping your face with a toner pad, you might notice some yellow cream residue. Those with white pillowcases should use caution! 🚨

However, I felt reassured using the Cafetinal Cream since it passed non-comedogenic testing. ✨Smooth application: Unlike other retinal creams, it's not thick and spreads easily. I've heard that retinal absorbs better than retinol! The quick absorption left my skin feeling fresh. ✨Pump dispenser: With a gentle press, the cream comes out in a donut shape, allowing for easy portion control. The airtight container also prevents oxidation and exposure to air. ✨Acne and scar care: The day after application, I noticed my inflamed acne had calmed down. By day five, my acne scars had visibly faded - amazing!
ConsIt's a shame I can't see how much product is left in the container.
TipFor synergistic effects, try applying retinal alongside a niacinamide serum!

Application: It spreads thinly without being too thick. I like how easily it glides on the skin. Absorption: It adheres well to the skin, so the absorption feels excellent. As someone with oily skin, I appreciate that it's not overly greasy. Packaging: The pump bottle allows for hygienic product management, which is great.
ConsScent: There's a slight chemical-like scent when first applied. It's a bit bothersome but not overwhelming. However, if you're sensitive to fragrances, be cautious. Moisturizing power: Since it's not a thick formula, the moisturizing power isn't exceptional. But it's not particularly lacking either - it's in a truly ambiguous middle ground in terms of hydration.
TipOverall, it feels average to use. There's nothing particularly bad about it, but it's not incredibly appealing either. It's so mediocre that I'm not sure I'd spend my own money on it. After two weeks of use, I haven't noticed any skin brightening or improvement. It just feels the same as before. Be careful with the pump bottle - if you press too hard, too much product comes out, so control your strength when dispensing.

Many anti-aging creams contain high concentrations of shea butter, but the Cafetinal Cream doesn't include it, which worked well for me. It's not too rich or heavy, making it suitable even for oily skin types. In my opinion, it's ideal for those in their 20s and 30s who want to start preventive anti-aging care before significant signs of aging appear.
ConsWhile it's called the 'Cafetinal' Cream, it only contains 300ppm of retinol, which is about 0.03% - a low concentration. This makes me wonder if it actually provides any significant retinol benefits.

Unlike typical retinal creams with thick textures suited for dry skin, this one has a relatively light finish, which I appreciate. It's so good that I skipped my usual cream step when using this (based on my combination dehydrated to oily skin type). It absorbs well too. However, since it's a tinted cream, you still need to be careful with white bedding. It's not completely oil-free, just less oily compared to other retinol creams. If you're expecting absolutely no residue, you might want to look for a different product. Irritation: As I'm already using a 1% retinal product, I wasn't worried about irritation or management. In fact, I felt the retinal concentration was quite mild, so I've been mixing it with my higher concentration retinal cream. I think this product is great for beginners. (For first-time users, I recommend patch testing on your neck first, then gradually increasing the amount mixed with your regular cream when applying to your face.) Packaging: This is my favorite aspect. Most retinal products come in tubes, which can be messy when you need more product mid-application. The pump dispenser prevents oxidation and eliminates the need to touch the container with product-covered hands. Scent: Almost fragrance-free. (There's a slight typical retinal cream scent, but it's barely noticeable.)
ConsRoom for improvement: I wish they offered various concentration levels of retinal for different stages of use.
