Although the instructions said to start with a small amount and gradually increase, my skin isn't super sensitive, so I slathered it on generously from day one! I have a vitamin C serum, which I stopped using for two weeks, and just used this with a pore essence and emulsion cream. It's incredibly hydrating - even in dry weather, I didn't need to use any additional mist before bed! The Hwahae Testers would approve of its moisturizing power. The next morning, I was a bit worried about flaking when I washed with just water before makeup, but thankfully my skin looked smooth! I think my pores might have shrunk, or maybe it's just the weather? Haha! It definitely seems effective on fine lines due to its excellent hydration.

The instructions mentioned using sunscreen when applying during the day to avoid sun exposure, like with vitamin products. However, I only used it in the evening. At night, I applied it along with my usual moisturizer, which I used plenty of.

For my oily skin, liquid formulations tend to work better than creams. However, this product is fine to use during the winter months without any issues.

I was already using retinol products, so I felt comfortable trying this one too. I was particularly interested in this cream because it contains both retinol and caffeine, so I'm grateful for the opportunity to try it. The cream has a yellow color and isn't too thick, so it absorbs well into the skin. After application, it feels slightly rich, so I apply a thin layer to avoid overdoing it. Although retinol can be irritating, I didn't experience any irritation, probably because I was already accustomed to using retinol products. This seems like a good retinol product for managing wrinkles and pores. While I didn't notice a dramatic difference compared to other products, I think it effectively fulfills its intended purpose.

As mentioned earlier, since retinal is sensitive to light and heat, I think it's better to use it at night rather than in the morning, so I'm only using it in the evening!

There are no drawbacks or disappointments except not knowing how much product is left!

When I first tried this product, I was worried my skin might react badly. But surprisingly, it addressed my deep dryness, visibly improved fine lines, and made my skin smoother and better overall.

Having used retinol products before, I applied this one every 3 days, 4 times in total, before bed.

Usually, retinol products feel a bit oily at first, then become drying as dead skin cells shed. However, this product didn't feel greasy upon application and didn't dry out my skin over time, which I loved. (It's not as hydrating as a moisturizer, but it doesn't dry out the skin either - it feels like it's supporting the skin barrier?)
It absorbs well, and despite its yellow color, it didn't stain my pillowcase. I didn't need an adjustment period and experienced no tingling or discomfort.

As you can see in the last photo, my skin has improved tremendously! Unlike other retinol products that can cause peeling, this one didn't, and my skin texture became incredibly smooth, like a peeled egg (This photo was taken right after waking up).
I'm currently using it every 3 days but considering increasing to every 2 days.

The pump dispenser can be a bit inconvenient to use when you're in a hurry.

The texture and feel of this cream are quite unique! When pumped, it comes out in a fluffy, donut-like shape, but it melts into the skin smoothly, leaving a nice, firm feeling. It's neither sticky nor heavy, making it perfect for both morning and evening use without any burden.

After application, my skin looks more vibrant! Perhaps due to its blood circulation-boosting effects, my complexion appears clearer. After a few days of use, I noticed my skin texture becoming smoother and firmer. Initially, I was concerned about potential irritation from the retinal, but it absorbs gently without any irritation, making it suitable even for those with sensitive skin.

Those with super sensitive skin might need to be cautious. I recommend patch testing first on areas with thin skin, like behind the ears or the inner part of your elbow. While some say it takes time to adjust, I found myself frequently scratching my face due to itchiness. The pump dispenser is hygienic, but it's challenging to control the amount dispensed. The product doesn't come out evenly, and any excess has to be used or wiped away, which feels wasteful.

It spreads smoothly and has a texture similar to a hydrating cream, absorbing quickly into the skin when applied. I appreciated the pump dispenser, which is more hygienic compared to dipping into a jar of cream.

For better absorption, I recommend cleansing your face thoroughly and balancing it with a toner before applying the cream!

The price point might feel a bit steep, which could be disappointing for those who prioritize value for money.

But I only got to apply it 4 times during the testing period....

● I have very dehydrated oily skin!

- The absorbs wonderfully. It feels slightly rich, but not sticky or heavy. It's like a thin coating that locks in hydration, leaving my face feeling smooth and pleasant.
- It absorbs well too. When I apply it at night and wake up in the morning, my skin feels adequately moisturized. The initial rich feeling disappears completely. There's no pilling when applying.
- I have acne-prone skin with blemishes, but after using it every other day for a week, I didn't get any new breakouts. In fact, my skin looked better. It's not irritating at all, and I think the gentle exfoliation of dead skin cells might have helped.
- I love the hygienic packaging that dispenses just the right amount!
*Note: This is my first time using a retinal cream, so I don't have anything to compare it to...

I have extremely dry skin, so I layered toner and serum before applying a thin layer of this cream as a final step. The absorbs well, combats dryness, and improves skin elasticity - I'm really satisfied with it!

What's more, unlike typical open-jar creams, this one has a unique container design that minimizes air contact, allowing for more hygienic use. I found this feature quite innovative and impressive!
