  Pros

  As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've always struggled to find the right cream. If it's too rich, I get blemishes, but if it's too light, I experience deep dryness. Then I tried the Jumi So Panthenol Soothing Cream, and it's been surprisingly good - I'm already on my second jar! First off, the texture is just right for a soothing cream. It's not too thick or heavy, and it absorbs well. Initially, it feels a bit firm, but it quickly sinks in without feeling heavy. The hydration is definitely good, but it doesn't feel overly rich, so I think it would work well for combination skin too. The lightweight, soothing texture makes it suitable for summer use as well! The ingredients are gentle, so there's minimal irritation even when my skin is sensitive. Especially with panthenol and ceramides, it seems to help strengthen the skin barrier. My skin had been weakened for a while, with severe redness and frequent burning sensations, but after applying this, my skin definitely feels calmer.

  Cons

  It might not be ideal for those with very dry skin, as the hydration doesn't last extremely long.

  Tip

  On days when my skin feels extra dehydrated, I either mix a drop of oil into this cream or blend it with La Roche-Posay cream for a finish that's more moisturizing and long-lasting. Also, while it's not the cheapest option for its size, I recommend stocking up during sales.

Skin type - Recommended for all skin types. However, those with dry skin may need to layer with other products.

  1. Fragrance-free and hygienic tube packaging (I prefer unscented products, and I liked that it comes in a more hygienic tube rather than a jar. The design, with its gradient green color, inspired confidence and looked clean, fitting for a product focused on soothing the skin.) 2. Light application and quick absorption (When first squeezed out, it looked like a translucent soothing cream, but when applied, it spread like a watery essence and seemed to absorb quickly. Recommended if you don't like products that sit on top of your skin!) 3. Matte finish (Interestingly for a cream, it absorbs quickly and leaves a matte finish. Great for oily skin types!) 4. Safe ingredients

  1. Drying sensation, lack of moisture (As someone with dry skin, using this in winter under a heater, the light finish of this cream felt very inadequate. Even after multiple applications, I couldn't feel any hydration. Instead, it felt like it was building up and becoming uncomfortable. The quick absorption actually made my skin feel drier, which I didn't like.) 2. Unremarkable (It's not quite suitable as a soothing cream, definitely not a moisturizing cream, and it's not even refreshing enough to provide a burst of hydration in summer. I'd recommend it as a hydrating cream with good ingredients for oily skin types.) 3. Despite not being prone to blemishes, I unfortunately developed a painful pimple while using this... It made me hesitant to reach for it again, even if it might just be a coincidence.

  Tip

  As a makeup base: It adheres well to the skin without feeling like it's sitting on top, so there's no pilling when applied before makeup. (However, for my dry skin, it wasn't moisturizing enough on its own.) As a hydrating mask: It worked well when applied generously on cheeks dried out from heater use. As a hand cream: I liked that it didn't leave any stickiness on my hands.
