After using it for about a week, I can say it absorbs well and is perfect for hot, oily summer days.

There's nothing particularly bad, but if I had to pick something, it's slightly on the sticky side.

For combination dehydrated skin types, try layering this cream with a hydrating serum to achieve that perfect balance of soothing and moisturizing effects. This approach can help address any deep dryness while still benefiting from the non-sticky, lightweight texture that's ideal for warmer weather.

As it's a soothing product, the hydration might be a bit lacking. It's best to use it alongside other serums or creams. However, if you layer it multiple times, it seems to work quite well.

I have super sensitive skin with severe redness and blemishes, but this product is so gentle that it's great for soothing my skin. It gives me the feeling that my skin barrier is becoming stronger, so I've been using it consistently both morning and night.

For those with dry skin, the hydration might be a bit insufficient.

I've been using this for a month, and despite being a barrier cream, it absorbs well and feels light on the skin, which I really like.

I experienced some trouble with blemishes on my cheeks where it tends to get oilier - the kind that pop up when there's too much oil.

I decided to try this barrier cream recommended for combination dehydrated skin. Most barrier creams are too greasy to use after winter, so I opted for this one with a hydrating moisturizer texture. To be honest, it's not super hydrating. Usually, when my skin barrier is compromised, I'd apply just a barrier cream before bed. With Atobarrier cream, I had to pair it with Torriden Soothing Cream to avoid blemishes and excess oil. I bought this hoping to simplify my routine, but I still end up layering both. While it doesn't cause extreme deep dryness on its own, I do notice some blemishes and oiliness, so I'm back to using both creams. However, it doesn't cause breakouts, so I'll keep using it - 4 stars for that. The price is reasonable, and the 20ml refill I'm using seems to last forever, which is great.

It's important to patch test new products, especially if you have sensitive skin. Everyone's skin reacts differently, so what works for some may not work for others.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to agree with my skin. As soon as I applied it, blemishes appeared all over my forehead, chin, neck, and nose.

I love how lightweight it feels without any oiliness.
It seems perfect for daily use.

As a makeup base: It adheres well to the skin without feeling like it's sitting on top, so there's no pilling when applied before makeup. (However, for my dry skin, it wasn't moisturizing enough on its own.)
As a hydrating mask: It worked well when applied generously on cheeks dried out from heater use.
As a hand cream: I liked that it didn't leave any stickiness on my hands.

(As someone with dry skin, using this in winter under a heater, the light finish of this cream felt very inadequate. Even after multiple applications, I couldn't feel any hydration. Instead, it felt like it was building up and becoming uncomfortable. The quick absorption actually made my skin feel drier, which I didn't like.)

(It's not quite suitable as a soothing cream, definitely not a moisturizing cream, and it's not even refreshing enough to provide a burst of hydration in summer. I'd recommend it as a hydrating cream with good ingredients for oily skin types.)
3. Despite not being prone to blemishes, I unfortunately developed a painful pimple while using this... It made me hesitant to reach for it again, even if it might just be a coincidence.

1. Fragrance-free and hygienic tube packaging
(I prefer unscented products, and I liked that it comes in a more hygienic tube rather than a jar. The design, with its gradient green color, inspired confidence and looked clean, fitting for a product focused on soothing the skin.)
2. Light application and quick absorption
(When first squeezed out, it looked like a translucent soothing cream, but when applied, it spread like a watery essence and seemed to absorb quickly. Recommended if you don't like products that sit on top of your skin!)

(Interestingly for a cream, it absorbs quickly and leaves a matte finish. Great for oily skin types!)
