Look who's here! My favorite cushion has arrived! I have oily skin with concerns about pores and blemishes, and I use shade 22. 1. The pore coverage is exceptional, creating an almost poreless skin appearance. I'll never forget the day I first tried Banila Co's White Cushion. It blurred my pores like I'd applied powder, but even better - while powder can make your makeup look thick, this product blurs pores thinly and naturally. It's truly the best! 2. Even as it wears, it looks beautiful. In fact, my skin looks better as time passes. The pore coverage lasts so well that when I look in the mirror after work, I see a gorgeous glow where my skin's natural oils have mixed with the product. It makes my complexion look amazing. 3. The color is beautiful and doesn't darken. I usually dislike ivory cushions because they make the skin look too bright, but the White Cushion changed my mind. It makes dull skin look fresh and maintains a radiant tone from application to removal, with no darkening. 4. It applies thinly with excellent adherence. Along with pore coverage, I think this is the White Cushion's best feature. A small amount creates a clean, natural skin finish. It really sticks to the skin like a second skin once applied. Unless you rub hard, there's almost no transfer or peeling. 1. The beauty of the skin finish depends on your skin condition. On days when my skin isn't at its best, especially when it feels hot or has a lot of dead skin cells, the White Cushion can look patchy. While it's my favorite, it's not ideal for daily use. 2. It requires careful application. This isn't a cushion you can apply carelessly. If you dab it on without controlling the amount, it can look cakey. I'll share tips on how to apply it carefully. 3. While the pore coverage is great, the blemish coverage isn't as impressive. I prioritize covering blemish marks, but unfortunately, it doesn't cover dark or bluish blemishes very well. 1. There's a significant price difference between the full product and refills. If you already have the compact, just buy refills. The two-refill set is particularly cost-effective. 2. Careful application method: Lightly pat the puff over the entire cushion surface (important), then remove excess product onto the inside of the cushion lid for better control (very important). Instead of patting, gently push the product into areas needing pore coverage. After initial coverage, quickly reapply using the excess product from the lid (important, as it sets quickly, making second-layer coverage difficult if you wait). 3. Since the skin finish varies with skin condition, it's not ideal for daily use. I currently alternate between Hera Black Cushion (highly recommended for daily use), Jung Saem Mool Skin Nuder Cushion (suitable for daily use) • Cover Layer Cushion, and Espoir Be Glow Cushion.
