It's too quickly fixed, so it's hard to apply. And it doesn't quite catch the lip wrinkles, so if there's even a little bit of flakiness, it looks really messy. I think I'll have to remove all the lip flakiness before I can use it..

Recently, I purchased it and the color was much prettier than I expected!! The texture is fluffy and even though there is some peeling, it covers to a certain degree.

If you apply too much, it will be washed away.

The new Romand (@romandyou) Matte Lip products have been released. The putty-like texture* piqued my curiosity, so I couldn't resist and purchased two shades. I'll share my review right away 💗

*The putty-like texture refers to the Romand Color Lip Matte's formula, which uses fine powder to fill in the fine lines and crevices on the lips, covering wrinkles and flakiness like a primer.

Shade 03 Taupe Dawn actually swatches as a red-tinted brown on my lips, rather than the brown described. The color itself is quite appealing and adds an attractive vibe 💋

Shade 07 Teddy Beige pairs nicely with the 03 Taupe Dawn I also purchased, making it a satisfactory base lip color 💋

Although I raved about the color and texture earlier, upon closer inspection, the matte formula is still burdensome on my dry lips. Even with a lip primer, it can only provide temporary relief, and it is completely unsuitable for my flaky, extremely dry lips.

However, the color is just too gorgeous. 😂🤭 Even though I don't particularly prefer a dewy, glossy finish, the matte formula isn't my go-to either. I only use this matte lip color occasionally for a change of pace.

While thinking 'a winter matte lip...', I had a feeling there would be something to it. This is a matte lip that can be worn in winter or all year round.

🪐 Although I don't have severely dry lips, my lips do tend to feel heated and parched, and I often deal with flaky skin, especially in the winter. This matte lip was formulated to work well even on my lips.

🪐 It has excellent adhesion and decent longevity, with a slight staining effect, but is easy to remove. This is a mocha-muted matte version of the 2025 trend color.

Although I'm not sure if it's because I applied it thinly, the colors don't seem to show up as intensely as the swatches.
When I smudge and apply it, the coverage appears a bit sheer.
To get the saturation shown on the product page, I'd need to apply it thickly, but then there would be a lot of transfer.

The primer ingredients seem to help it adhere well even on dry lips, but as it's a matte formula, proper exfoliation is necessary. Otherwise, the coverage won't look as nice due to emphasizing flaky skin.

The Toff Brown is not too yellow, nor is it reddish, but just in the middle as a neutral Toff Brown. Personally, I think it would be perfect for applying a muted or warm autumn base in a calm manner.
The formula is in a tube-type with a blurry velvet texture, which blends well and applies thinly.
It doesn't completely conceal vertical wrinkles, but the primer ingredients seem to fill them in to some extent, so wrinkles are less emphasized when applied.
Furthermore, being in a tube form rather than a pot-type, it's convenient to carry around, and the 8g amount is generous.
While it's comfortable to apply with a brush, the 45-degree angled applicator tip also allows for direct application from the tube.
However, I personally find it better to apply with a brush or the included silicone lip brush.
There is some transfer, but it's not excessive, and the longevity is reasonably good.
The adhesion is also quite good, with minimal staining.
The scent is very subtle but has a sweet note to it.
