Highly recommended as a warm-tone base lip product! It doesn't accentuate dead skin cells at all and does an excellent job of concealing any purplish lip discoloration. If you apply too much, it won't adhere well, so controlling the amount is crucial. You should only use a pea-sized amount when applying. - dl********Oily SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresJun 3, 2025
As someone who's always been crazy about MLBB shades, I was thrilled to try this one, especially with the mocha mousse trend going around. The color didn't disappoint at all! One swipe gives you a pretty intense pigment, but you can spread it out for a softer look or build it up for more drama. Either way, it's gorgeous. The versatility of this shade is really impressive - it looks beautiful whether you go for a subtle hint of color or a bold statement lip. I'm absolutely in love with this hue! - Cheap packaging nightmare The packaging is a total letdown. After just three weeks, a hole appeared on the side of the tube, causing product to leak everywhere. It's a mess! To top it off, the applicator broke and got stuck in the cap. Talk about frustrating! I didn't even use it roughly, but whether it was from tightening the cap too much or what, it started leaking from the side. I tried to salvage it by applying directly from the leaking part, but eventually it became unusable. Now I can't even close it properly - it's a goner! - Blemish magnet and moisture vampire This formula seems to have zero ingredients that nourish or smooth the lips. It's like it's on a mission to highlight every bit of dead skin on your lips. The more I used it, the drier my lips became, making the flakiness even more noticeable. It's a vicious cycle of dehydration and blemishes. It's such a shame because they nailed the color, but completely dropped the ball on the packaging. It feels like they were trying to copy those trendy tube-style lips products from overseas, but missed the mark entirely on quality. While the color is undeniably beautiful and versatile, the poor quality of the packaging and the drying formula significantly detract from the overall experience. It's disappointing to see a product with such potential fall short due to these issues. For those with sensitive or dry lips, this might not be the best choice unless you're willing to put in extra effort with lip care. The packaging problems also make it a risky investment, as the product may become unusable before you've had a chance to finish it. If the brand could improve the formula to be more hydrating and upgrade the packaging, this could be a standout product given its excellent color payoff. - ji************Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 27, 2025
The color is truly beautiful and perfect as a base! I highly recommend this shade for those with warm undertones. It sets too quickly, making it difficult to apply. Also, it doesn't smooth out lip lines well, so if you have even a bit of dead skin cells, it looks really messy. You'll need to completely exfoliate your lips before using this. - vi*******Oily SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2025
I recently purchased this and the color was even prettier than I expected! The texture is soft and powdery, and it covers dead skin cells to some extent. The actual color seems a bit different from the description, but the real shade is actually more beautiful when applied. While it covers blemishes, it looks even more stunning if you apply some lip balm to smooth out dead skin cells first. If you create a gradient from the inner to outer part of your lips, it's absolutely amazing! - sp************Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 15, 2025
I love how matte and velvety it feels. It's easy to control the amount and hygienic to use. Great for warm skin tones, especially those with a deep undertone. It might be a bit intense for those with a very deep undertone. It can pill if you apply too much. You need to be careful with the amount you use. Controlling the amount is crucial. - ba******Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 11, 2025
A toffee-like shade reminiscent of dried roses with a strong gray undertone. First off, the color is really beautiful. It's not too dull, nor is it overly pink. It blends perfectly with your natural lip color. They advertised that it covers dead skin cells on lips well, but I'm not so sure about that claim. - sp*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 3, 2025
* This is my honest review of a product I purchased with my own money :) Romand (@romandyou) has released a new matte lip product. The 'putty texture'* piqued my curiosity... so I couldn't resist and bought two shades. Let me share my thoughts right away 💗 *What is 'putty texture'? It refers to the texture of Romand's Color Lip Matte, which uses fine powder to fill in the vertical lines on the lips, covering wrinkles and dead skin cells like a primer. ❶ #ColorLipMatte 03 #TaupeDawn On my lips, 03 Taupe Dawn appears as a vibrant red with brown undertones, rather than the brown lip described in the product details. I loved how the shade itself adds an attractive vibe 💋 ❷ #ColorLipMatte 07 #TeddyBeige 07 Teddy Beige worked well as a base lip color, complementing the 03 Taupe Dawn I bought to use together 💋 Teddy Beige (when applied to my lips) showed up as a light pink with a white undertone. I found it a bit disappointing that it might be too subtle to use on its own 🤔 ❸ (Gratis) #Romand #Blending #LipBrush There's currently a 'Color Lip Matte 1&1 Blending Lip Brush' promotion 🙌🏻 As you can see from its lip balm-like appearance, it's designed as a lip spreader. However, given that it's a color product with a rich texture, a lip brush is essential when applying 🙈 It would be great to receive this as a free gift with purchase. Personally, I found the Romand lip brush much softer compared to other brands' silicone brushes I've used before, which I really liked 𖤐 ❹ (Gratis) #romand #pocket #cardmirror - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 1, 2025
*Yellow shade 21, deep warm undertone, intense lip color 03 Taupe Dawn 🪐Whether applied for full coverage or smudged for a wider, diffused look, or even hastily applied without technique, this color maintains its captivating depth and irresistible allure. 🪐When Rom&nd announced a matte lip for winter, I thought, 'Risky move!' But while pondering the concept of a winter matte lip, I realized this is a matte lip suitable for winter or all seasons. 🪐As someone with mildly heat-sensitive and dry lips that are prone to dead skin cells in winter, I can attest that this matte lip is formulated to be wearable even on such delicate lips. 🪐It boasts excellent adherence, average staying power, and leaves a slight stain while being easy to remove. The color embodies the 2025 trend - a deeply alluring, matte version of mocha mousse. ▪️While I've sung its praises due to my infatuation with the color and formula, upon closer inspection, it's still a challenging matte for very dry lips. Even with a lip primer, it might only be temporarily manageable. Definitely not recommended for lips with excessive dead skin cells or extreme dryness! ▪️However, the color is incredibly beautiful. Despite falling for the color, I don't always prefer a moisturizing glow, but I don't reach for mattes often either. This is a matte lip I'll use occasionally for a change of pace. - gk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 24, 2025
This medium-toned taupe brown strikes the perfect balance - not too yellow, not too red. It's ideal for those with deep undertones or when you want a more subdued base. The tube format houses a blurry velvet lip formula that smudges well and applies thinly. While it doesn't completely conceal vertical lip lines, the primer-like ingredients help to fill them in, making wrinkles less noticeable. The tube packaging is travel-friendly and contains a generous 8g of product. The 45-degree angled applicator allows for direct application, but I prefer using a brush or the complimentary silicone lip brush for better results. There's minimal transfer, so the staying power is decent, and it adheres well to the lips without much staining. The scent is incredibly subtle with a sweet undertone. The color payoff isn't as intense as I expected, possibly due to my thin application. When smudged, it tends to appear somewhat sheer. To achieve the vibrancy shown on the product page, you'd need to apply it thickly, which could lead to more transfer. While the primer-like ingredients allow for good adhesion even on dry lips, it's still a matte formula, so proper lip exfoliation is crucial. Without proper prep, dry flakes can interfere with a smooth, pretty application.
