The texture is so soft and lovely, and the formula is absolutely fantastic. I have no complaints whatsoever - it's truly amazing! Oh my, I love the amount you get! And oh, the color is what I adore the most. Highly recommended for winter! - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 1, 2025
* Shade 21 (Warm Deep Yellow) While I enjoy this color regardless of season, it's not ideal for pale skin tones. The pigmentation can be weak, and when it does show up, it can look unflattering. The color is a medium-chroma grape purple, not too dark. It's challenging to use directly as a blush if you want to match your lips and cheeks. The formula sets quickly, so immediate application can result in patchiness. For best results, mix a tiny amount with a clear lip top coat on a palette, then gently pat it on with a brush. This method enhances the Inner Glow and creates a suitable color for cheeks. This matte lip color is versatile for most people, except those with extremely dry lips. It has good staying power with slight staining, but it's relatively easy to remove. While I rarely reach for matte lips in winter, this one is occasionally wearable. In other words, it's a matte version you can enjoy from time to time, even during colder months. As mentioned earlier, being a true matte lip product, it's not recommended for lips with a lot of dead skin cells or dryness. - gk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 24, 2025
This deep mauve cherry-pink color with a cool undertone is the most accurate match to the product page among the 4 shades I purchased. If you think this kind of cool-toned deep color suits you, I recommend buying based on the lip swatches shown on the product page. The formula comes in a tube and has a blurry velvet lip texture that smudges well and applies thinly. While it doesn't completely conceal vertical lip lines, it does fill them in somewhat, possibly due to the primer ingredients, making wrinkles less noticeable when applied. Moreover, compared to pot-type lip products, the tube format is convenient for carrying around, and you get a generous 8g of product. Although it's easier to apply with a brush, the 45-degree angled applicator allows for direct application too. Personally, I prefer using a brush or the complimentary silicone lip brush. There's some transfer, but it's not excessive, so the staying power is decent. The adherence is good, but it barely leaves any stain. The scent is very subtle with a sweet note. I'm not sure if it's because I applied it thinly, but the colors don't come out as intensely as they appear in the product images. When smudging, it seems to apply somewhat sheer. To achieve the same color saturation as shown on the product page, you need to apply it thickly, which increases transfer. While it adheres well even on dry lips, possibly due to the primer ingredients, it is a matte lip product after all. You need to exfoliate well, otherwise, dead skin cells will be emphasized and the color won't apply beautifully.
