The product description mentions numerous human trials, which inspires confidence... I'm most impressed that it doesn't require refrigeration and won't spoil within its use-by date. I'm a fan of azulene as an ingredient, and it gives the product a lovely color too. Also, you know how sometimes vitamin C can make your face look more yellow? That doesn't happen with this, which is great. It was far too harsh for my skin. The moment the product touches my skin, I feel a burning sensation. Even on my fingertips, it feels hot - I was so curious I wanted to measure the temperature! And I just couldn't handle the heaviness typical of high-concentration vitamin C products. I tried to apply it thinly with a skincare brush, but no matter how I applied it, after a while my skin would become unbearably itchy. I had to give up after just a few uses. The blue color is beautiful. It doesn't turn brown. It's nice that it's shaded. I have a job that requires wearing a mask. After properly applying sunscreen and wearing the mask for a few hours, an orange residue appears on the mask and my face becomes blotchy. During the day, I'm unable to reapply, so I do it in the evening. I love that it prevents oxidation, allowing for long-term use. The azulene ingredient promises overall skin improvement and brightening in the long run, which I really appreciate. After using it for a few days, I actually noticed my complexion becoming brighter. It's neither sticky nor greasy, so you can apply it before makeup. (Just be sure to control the amount you use.) The irritation is very intense. As soon as I apply it, my face stings and turns red. It feels like I've applied pure alcohol to my skin.
