I think Aestica is the real deal from Aestura, even more so than Atobarrier. It's not a lightweight formula by any means - it's quite rich with a high oil content, making it feel substantial. What's fascinating is that it doesn't heat up your face, but instead creates a cooling sensation. It's truly a cooling product. Those ice packs and artificial cooling products that temporarily chill your skin are actually not great in the long run. They can be irritating, especially for sensitive skin. The Aestica line works by maintaining an acidic skin environment to combat redness and inflammation. I was skeptical when they claimed to be the first with this function, thinking it was just marketing hype for a run-of-the-mill serum. But I have to say, the effects are truly unique and impressive. The serum has a satisfyingly thick finish. In weather like this, you can skip moisturizer and just use this with an ampoule for a great makeup base. It's a bit sticky.
