This product was excellent for dealing with sudden redness. It definitely helped cool down my skin and was very effective. I could see the redness gradually subsiding and my troubled skin recovering. It's absolutely perfect for someone like me with combination and super sensitive skin. When first applying, those with redness might experience a slight tingling sensation and temporary flushing. However, if you trust the process and keep using it, this product won't let you down. The texture is like a slippery, hydrating essence - somewhere between soju and runny nose. The cica ingredients work well for me, so this product was also a great match. I used it on my flushed skin after working out, as it claims to improve redness on sensitive skin. While it doesn't actively cool the skin, it's excellent for soothing. It's a versatile product that works well for various purposes. I really appreciate that the glass bottle is lightweight. It's a decent product without any particular drawbacks. It doesn't instantly hydrate with just one application, but it's great for layering. I wish they would create a thicker formulation for winter use.

As someone who struggles with extreme redness, I've noticed my skin tone has almost completely evened out! Only a slight flush remains around my nose and between my eyebrows, while my cheeks and chin have returned to my natural complexion. I'm nearly finished with my first bottle and will definitely repurchase. The results are truly outstanding! It's not sticky at all, and the texture feels so fresh and pleasant on the skin. My skin even feels more supple and bouncy! I tried this soothing serum when I had some blemishes since it claims to help with post-acne marks. After about 3 days of use, I noticed it calmed my skin quite well and seemed to reduce inflammation. The redness and marks appeared to fade somewhat. While it didn't completely eliminate the marks, I think this product will show better results with consistent use. The texture is really hydrating and absorbs well into the skin, making it pleasant to apply. I also liked that it didn't cause any pilling when I put on makeup in the morning! I first tried this serum as a sample and it worked wonders, so 5 years later I decided to buy it again. 💚 Ingredients Contains hyaluronic acid, cica, and niacinamide (for anti-aging and brightening). 💚 Texture The consistency is a bit runny, so it glides easily on the skin. This means it absorbs pretty quickly too! 💚 Effects It's great for calming the skin :) It's really good for blemish-prone skin too. My boyfriend used to have extremely troubled skin, but he found this serum didn't clog his pores and really helped soothe his blemishes. He went through bottles of this stuff! I don't have severe blemishes, but I use it for its skin-soothing benefits. (However, I'm not sure if the 4.5 Scar Calming Serum is different from the old version... I was so satisfied with the previous version that when I went to repurchase, I noticed it had been renewed. Using this alone leaves blemishes on my face... I don't usually have acne-prone skin, but it caused small bumps and pustular acne, so I've stopped using it now.
