It's quite rich, but thanks to the titanium dioxide, the finish doesn't feel greasy. In winter it's drying, and in summer it causes blemishes. I tried it on a day when my skin was in good condition, but the next day, I noticed small bumps appearing on my sensitive areas - around the mouth, eyes, and chin. Like other reviewers, I bought this at duty-free and tested it at Olive Young. The feel is similar in both places. - ch******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 12, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to redness and uneven texture, I'm just grateful it doesn't cause any blemishes. I'm using it with hope that my skin will improve over time. I'm not sure if it has any special soothing effects. I'll need to use it more to see. While the product doesn't seem to irritate my sensitive skin, which is a plus, I haven't noticed any significant calming benefits yet. I'll continue using it to better assess its effectiveness in addressing my skin concerns, particularly in reducing redness and improving overall skin texture. - lu********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 28, 2025
It absorbs relatively smoothly. You'll immediately understand why it's famous as a regenerating cream once you try it. It's a must-have after dermatological procedures, and you'll find yourself emptying several tubes a year. It's truly an essential item in your skincare routine. The downside is the price. You need to apply a generous amount for it to be effective. If you use too little, it feels insufficient. - as*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2025
I have sensitive skin and was looking for a cream with regenerative properties. I'm very satisfied with this one as it's moisturizing and seems great for sensitive skin! Considering the amount you get, the price is reasonable too. I'll likely repurchase this if I need another regenerative cream in the future. Be aware that it can leave a white cast and feels a bit slippery when applied before makeup. I found it works best when used at night. - ji*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2025
I noticed the name is different from the domestic version when I bought it duty-free! The ingredients seem slightly different too, so that's worth noting. Hydration: As a barrier cream, it's more about oil and moisture than hydration. It's great for dry skin, but might be a bit greasy for oily types. I have combination dehydrated skin and bought it for winter moisturizing, but it was too rich for me - I barely used a tenth of it. If you have oily skin, I'd recommend getting the smallest size possible, considering cosmetics typically have a one-year shelf life. When your skin feels irritated or sensitive, it's great to just use toner and this cream, skipping other skincare steps. You can really feel it calming your skin and reducing that burning sensation. That's when I realized why it's called a barrier cream! Recommended for: Dry skin, super sensitive skin Not recommended for: Very oily skin Application: Unlike regular moisturizers, this has a thick consistency. Think of it as similar to a mineral sunscreen texture. The cream itself is quite dense, so it's not the easiest to apply. It tends to pill easily, which is why many people use it as part of their night care routine. - sh**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedFeb 6, 2025
I received this for acne, but it contains shea butter! However, it doesn't feel heavy at all. The texture is transparent like a hydrating moisturizer, not thick or greasy. After applying, my skin feels plump and firm, which helps my makeup adhere well. If you apply it too thickly, it can pill like dead skin cells. Make sure to apply a thin layer!
