As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to folliculitis, I decided to give this product a try after it was recommended to me. With the weather getting warmer and my pores seeming to expand, I thought it might help! I've been using it morning and night, applying it after my toner and before my serum. It feels wonderfully cooling on my skin, which tends to run hot. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free, making it pleasant to use. The texture is somewhere between a gel and a jelly. In terms of application, I'd give it ⭐⭐⭐ stars. It absorbs well without leaving any stickiness. Due to my folliculitis, I'm quite sensitive to ingredients, but this hasn't caused any breakouts or worsened my condition, so I've been able to use it daily. While I can't say it's visibly shrinking my pores in this hot summer weather, the cooling sensation makes it a joy to use. At first, I thought the amount was quite small, but a little goes a long way. Just a pea-sized amount covers my whole face, so I expect it to last quite a while! The only downside is that it doesn't come with a spatula, so you need to make sure your hands are thoroughly clean before dipping into the jar. For an extra refreshing experience, try storing it in the refrigerator!

When applied, it leaves a slightly rich feeling and feels a bit sticky, causing hair to cling to the skin. It's less noticeable once absorbed. It's a bit disappointing that the results seem subtle compared to the price. The product absorbs well after initial application, but the initial stickiness might be bothersome for some users. As a man using this for night care, I can say it's quite effective. Although I have oily skin and the product feels a bit rich, leaving a slightly sticky feeling after application, I've found that using a small amount with a spatula works well. The next morning, after cleansing and shaving, my skin feels so firm that it's almost a bit resistant to the razor - that's how you know it's working hard on elasticity! This product is excellent for improving skin elasticity. The slight richness and stickiness are minor drawbacks. Apart from that, I can't think of any other downsides. For those with combination dehydrated skin or super sensitive skin, you might want to layer this product carefully. After applying, it feels firm and long-lasting. Perhaps that's why it gives a sense of elasticity to the face. In the morning, instead of washing my face immediately, I apply a hydrating cream, then massage my face and scalp for 5-10 minutes before cleansing. I'm satisfied. For reference, I'm in my 50s, but I think it would be great to start using from your 40s. It absorbs well, but it can be a bit sticky and might cause slight itching at first. It's probably best to apply just before bed. Everything else is good, but it's on the pricier side. They say you'll see results after two weeks of use, so I'm diligently applying it. If my skin really becomes plump and firm, I plan to repurchase. Since the amount is small, I use a metal spatula to thinly apply a rough layer, then carefully apply another layer on top. My skin feels firmer, even though I've only used it five times so far. It absorbs well into the skin. I'd recommend this for those with dry skin. It's a bit on the rich side, so you might want to use just a small amount. I had some blemishes at first, but they cleared up as I continued using it.
