Personally, I find that applying a thin layer with a spatula prevents pilling and helps it blend seamlessly. For areas needing more coverage, I gently pat the product to build it up, then add another thin layer or two where needed. If you have dry skin, it might look patchy, so I always use a puff dampened with facial mist and gently pat it in. This technique really helps with the absorption and gives a smoother finish.

Although it's a cover cream, it's inevitably less effective at concealing compared to cushions or traditional foundations. Blemishes like acne scars are still somewhat visible.

I bought this foundation-free product out of curiosity after seeing it trending on Instagram. They even included a free puff applicator! As for coverage... it fell a bit short of expectations. The complexion enhancement wasn't as stunning as I had hoped. Ironically, a light layer of skincare seemed to work better.

For shades 22-23, it beautifully evens out the skin tone! The staying power was impressive, and it absorbs well into the skin.

Applying it thinly and broadly with a spatula, then gently patting with a puff seems to make it less drying! Afterwards, I found it works well to dab concealer on areas that need more coverage.

While this is marketed as a sunscreen with coverage, if you're expecting foundation or cushion-level coverage, I'd recommend something else!

I'd like to use this current size as a travel version and wish they'd release a larger size!
