The subtle glow it gives is lovely without being excessive. I usually can't use glowy cushions because my skin tends to be oily, but this one feels slightly powdery despite its glow, so it's not overwhelming and doesn't seem to break down much. The cushion puff has a unique design that I really like! Half of it has air holes, and when you pat with that part, it helps the product adhere well to the skin.
ConsThe color has a slightly yellow undertone, so I'd recommend cool-toned individuals to try a different shade. The coverage is a bit lacking... It doesn't quite conceal larger blemishes or scars, which is disappointing. However, it does cover small and light spots well! There's also some settling into wrinkles and pores, so you need to make sure to blend it well when applying. Of course, using a primer would help, but I'm too lazy for that. I just made sure to pat it in well with the puff and set certain areas with powder, which worked fine.
TipAs someone with large pores, I noticed some product settling into them. If you're concerned about pores like me, applying powder to your T-zone and butterfly zone after using the cushion can make your skin look much better. When applying powder, hold your brush upright and apply with a feeling of filling in the pores for best results.

It's perfect for those with extremely dry skin who find that everything else looks patchy or flaky - matte formulas are a no-go for you! If you're after that radiant, luminous complexion, this is a must-try. The hydration and glow it provides are simply fantastic.
ConsThe coverage is quite lacking... It doesn't conceal blemishes well, and it won't cover acne scars or similar imperfections. Also, the shade runs quite yellow, which didn't suit my complexion at all. Those who prioritize coverage and have fairer skin tones might find this disappointing.

To be honest, I don't usually have high expectations for makeup products I receive as a tester, especially if it's not from a well-known brand. But I was pleasantly surprised by how decent this one turned out to be (though there is one major drawback I'll mention later...). True to its name 'Veil Glow', this cushion feels wonderfully hydrating when applied! As someone with oily skin, I'm not usually a fan of such moisturizing cushions, but I noticed it settles into a semi-matte finish over time. This might be a hit or miss depending on personal preference - I personally liked it! However, if you're looking for that ultra-dewy, super-moisturizing cushion that dry skin types often prefer, this might not be quite what you're after. I also tried patting it on for touch-ups, and it applies smoothly without caking, even over existing makeup. It does a pretty good job of covering pores too. The cool, hydrating sensation when applying makes it great for on-the-go touch-ups. While matte cushions tend to set quickly and become less ideal for touch-ups later, this one seems perfect for that purpose! Overall, it's a solid product with no major formulation issues. The reason I'm recommending it more for touch-ups rather than as a primary base is due to one significant drawback that I'll explain in the 'bad' section. Despite its formulation strengths, this one issue is substantial enough to impact my overall rating. As a Hwahae Tester, I've tried to be as honest as possible in my review!
ConsAs I mentioned earlier, the color is excessively yellow... I don't usually comment on this, but the shade is shockingly yellow. I expected shade 21 to be light for my skin tone, but it's not so much about the brightness as it is about the intensity of the yellow undertone. It really took me by surprise. Everything else about this product was decent, but the color issue significantly lowered my overall rating. It's quite disappointing.

My U-zone gets oily while my T-zone is dry, making it really challenging to apply cushion foundation. Despite this, I decided to try my luck with The Hwahae Testers, and fortunately, I was selected! The formula feels thick, which translates to great coverage. Applying a thin layer with a small amount gives a nice skin finish. The staying power is pretty good too. I like that it's not overly glowy, which means less transfer. It gives a subtle glow that makes the skin look healthy and hydrated. And wow, the cushion puff is amazing! I'd consider buying extras. It's thin, allowing all the product to transfer to the skin, and the application is incredibly smooth. Even though the formula might be thick, it spreads well with the puff, so I definitely recommend it. Lately, I've been disappointed with cushions that give a bare-skin look with sheer coverage (what's the point for those of us with problematic skin?). This one, however, provides just the right amount of coverage. Perfect for faces with blemishes!
ConsI usually use shades between 21 and 19, and have yellowish skin. The Pobi Face Cushion in Ivory has a yellow undertone, which might make yellow skin like mine look even more yellow. It probably won't suit cool-toned skin. Also, maybe due to its high coverage, it seems darker than the usual shade 21. If you're around my shade, I'd recommend going for a lighter color.
TipIf it feels too thick, try applying two thin layers. Use a light hand when setting with powder.

Hydration Many cushions advertised as 'glowy' for dry skin end up looking matte after a while. But this one stays dewy from the moment you apply it until 10 hours later! 2. Longevity & Wear Even after 10 hours, it still looks beautiful with a lovely glow.
Cons1. Color For my preference, it was too yellow-toned. 2. Not recommended for touch-ups It applies fine initially, but when you try to layer it, it pills and makes your skin look cakey.

Surprisingly, despite containing oil, this cushion didn't cause any pimples or blemishes. For a glow cushion, it covers redness quite well, and even if it gets scratched or rubbed off, it doesn't leave noticeable patches. It's perfect for busy mornings when you don't have time for a full skincare routine - you can still achieve that Inner Glow look. It provides decent coverage when layered over problem areas. My skin tends to get very dry in the evening with oil coming through, but this cushion maintained a nice glow without feeling greasy and kept my skin hydrated all day. I also liked that the inner cover of the cushion is made of silicone, which seems to help prevent oxidation.
ConsThe color had a slightly yellow undertone and didn't give a bright, fresh look. The texture was a bit tricky - it would pill if you tried to spread it, but would leave marks if you patted it on. For a glow cushion, it felt a bit thick. As someone without much makeup skill, I found it challenging to apply. Initially, it seemed to cover pores well, but over time it settled into pores and fine lines. It also transfers quite a bit where it touches. I'd recommend this for warm-toned individuals or those looking to cover redness. While it didn't cause blemishes, there was a slight itchiness, and it would come off easily if scratched. There was also some slight darkening of the skin.
TipFor those with combination dehydrated skin and lots of blemishes, this glow cushion offers good coverage and effectively covers redness. However, it can transfer, so keep your skincare light to prevent it from breaking down. Cool-toned individuals might want to go for a slightly lighter shade as it has a strong yellow undertone. While it does transfer and come off easily when scratched, it's not very noticeable. If you're expecting a veil-like, powdery finish because it's called a 'veil cushion', you might be disappointed - this is definitely a glow cushion. However, the coverage is not bad. Recommended for warm-toned individuals or those wanting to cover redness. Cool-toned folks might want to go up a shade.
