However, this actually works in its favor as it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. This was my first time trying a glow cushion after using only matte ones, and I was pleasantly surprised by how natural and beautiful the luminous finish looked. Despite the severe air pollution these days and wearing a mask, it didn't transfer much and the glow didn't fade away. The longevity was a bit disappointing. As I'm used to matte cushions, I really noticed the difference... When it started to break down, it felt like it was pilling while fading. I'm not very experienced with glow cushions, so I don't have many tips, but... After applying sunscreen, if you pat the cushion on vigorously, it seems to double the glow!

One dab is just enough to spread thinly across the face. Half of the puff has tiny holes, so you can use that side to dispense the product and pat it onto your face for even coverage. The staying power is impressive - I didn't need to touch up for 8 hours. Even with my super sensitive skin, it didn't feel suffocating, and it's so gentle that I didn't experience any blemishes. It's not particularly glowy, but I'm satisfied with its semi-matte finish. It adheres well over organic sunscreen, and the product continues to dispense through the puff's holes, so you only need to pat vigorously at first, then gently tap with the other side of the puff for natural coverage. I usually use shade 21, but shade 2 in this works well for me. I appreciate that it's almost fragrance-free and doesn't stick to my hair. After toner, I applied moisturizer and sprayed mist all over my face, then gently patted on the cushion while tapping it in. When I did this, it adhered perfectly without any pilling, and gave a subtle glow. But it's not that this product is dark, it's that 21 shades are coming out lighter these days, like 20. If you're going for a bright makeup look, you might find it a bit dark. However, it's perfect for a natural, bare-faced look that doesn't contrast much with your neck. Texture: It's a hydrating cushion, so it feels slightly cool when you apply it. It blends well and doesn't cake even with rough application, making it easy for beginners to use. Glow: I usually prefer matte cushions, but this has a subtle, natural glow that isn't overwhelming. After 6+ hours, it does break down and get a bit shiny. Adherence: Average. Coverage: Average. It seems good for covering pores. Not sure about texture, redness, or blemishes. Longevity: About 5-6 hours? Touch-ups are necessary as it fades. Darkening: While the makeup fades and can look darker, I didn't notice the product itself darkening. Typically, glowy cushions have poor staying power and tend to make you look overly shiny. However, this cushion doesn't make me look excessively dewy, and its longevity is surprisingly good. I used to use Espoir cushions, but now I've switched to using only this one! While matte cushions require careful application, this one absorbs so well that it's cut down my morning skincare routine significantly, which is great when I'm rushing to work. I was initially worried about trying an unfamiliar brand, but now it's become my favorite cushion! The shades seem to run a bit darker compared to other brands, so keep that in mind when choosing your color! For my skin with some blemishes, the coverage wasn't exceptionally high. After trying it, I think even those with super sensitive skin could use this! I didn't experience any blemishes, itching, or other symptoms when using this cushion. The shade 21 seems to match well. It brightened up my complexion nicely. It has a yellow base, which worked well to cover my redness. While the difference may not be apparent in photos, the cushion actually makes my skin tone look one shade brighter! The scent is floral? It's similar to what's often used in sunscreens, so I found it quite comfortable to use. True to its name, it gives a subtle glow which I love! However, if you're looking for something super hydrating, this might not be for you. It feels moisturizing when first applied, but becomes slightly matte over time - I'd say it's semi-matte. I actually preferred this! For a glow cushion, it provides surprisingly good coverage! Of course, you'd need a concealer for perfect coverage, but it's great for moderate coverage if that's what you're after. The initial packaging was so secure that it was quite difficult to open. It doesn't give a full-on glow, but rather evens skin tone while covering pores and adding a subtle Inner Glow, which I love even more. It doesn't break down unattractively over time. I even sweated buckets during Pilates, and it still held up well. The color is great too. I use shade 22, and it gives just the right amount of brightness to my complexion. The issue is more with the packaging than the product itself. The container tends to collect fingerprints easily, and it seems a bit flimsy. When I was removing the plastic wrap from the new product, the cushion briefly separated from the case.
