As someone who loves neutral and herbal scents, I'm absolutely thrilled with this fragrance! I've often found citrus or green tea scents to be light and fleeting, which was disappointing. But this perfume is different - it's like a matcha cream latte with a cozy, soft, yet substantial foam scent. When sprayed on the back of the neck, it lasts much longer than other similar fragrances, which I really appreciate! I couldn't find any drawbacks! The unique scent is completely satisfying, especially considering the price point. I've discovered that if you layer this perfume as a base and then apply your usual citrus or aquatic scent on top, you can achieve a deeper fragrance with even better longevity! - mo***Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedApr 9, 2025
It has a neutral scent. The fragrance is clean and subtle. I think the lingering scent is even better. There's also a slight hint of a bathhouse aroma. The spray dispenses well. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. Nothing at all. Not a single drawback. - y2******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 27, 2025
I received this fragrance today that I ordered through the Daiso app a couple days ago, and I immediately gave it a sniff! As someone who's always wearing perfume... and also a huge fan of matcha, I've smelled quite a few matcha scents before. Fragrance: While it might not be the intense matcha latte scent some might expect (honestly, it's the least matcha-like of all the matcha perfumes I've tried), it's still quite lovely. The initial scent reminds me of that signature Olive Young fragrance you often encounter in their stores. It's more reminiscent of lotus than matcha, with a unisex appeal that might work well for men or those who prefer gender-neutral scents. As the top notes fade, you can detect subtle hints of fig and coconut - which I absolutely adore! Longevity: I'm genuinely shocked at how long-lasting this fragrance is for its price point. The quality you get for just 5000 won is truly unbelievable! The downside is that despite being called 'Matcha Magnolia', the matcha scent is barely noticeable. The initial impression is dominated by magnolia and a skincare-like scent. If you're not a fan of skincare scents or strong initial fragrances, I'd recommend waiting about 5 minutes after application before judging the scent.
