Due to extensive damage from hair coloring and perming, my hair did not maintain its condition well even after applying hair oil. However, when I sprayed this product on my hair during the drying process, in between drying, and again after fully drying, as well as during the preparation stage, my hair became significantly softer!! The fragrance is amazing! It has a really high-end rose or floral scent that lingers for a long time. The application is great too - it makes my hair super soft and moisturized without any stickiness. I haven't noticed any major drawbacks yet, but there seems to be a slight pilling issue. You need to be careful with the amount you dispense and how you apply it. When applying the water essence, it's handy to spray it on a cushion puff and pat it on. This way, you can apply it without getting your hands messy.
