This product is truly... the best cleansing foam I've ever used in my life. I'm writing this review right after trying it because it's just that good. I have sensitive, blemish-prone, combination skin, so I can't use just any cleansing foam. But from the first wash, the Bold Formula Trouble Deep Cleansing Foam was noticeably different. ✔️ Rich, soft foam that cleanses deep into the pores ✔️ No tightness after cleansing, skin feels genuinely refreshed and comfortable ✔️ Noticeable reduction in blemishes after just a few days of use Above all, it cleanses deeply without irritation, leaving my skin looking clearer! Just by changing my cleanser, my skin condition has improved so much lately. I'm even producing less sebum, and those tiny bumps have really decreased... This is by far the most satisfying cleansing foam I've ever used. For those struggling with blemishes, I wholeheartedly recommend this product. The price point is a bit high for a foam cleanser, which might make some hesitate to purchase. However, it's so good that I'll definitely be buying it again. - ek*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJun 5, 2025

My skin type: Dry (with some blackheads on the nose), super sensitive skin, atopic dermatitis, and small bumps on the forehead. Scent: I was pleased that it's fragrance-free, which is perfect for my sensitive skin! Texture: For a cleanser that can also be used as a mask, I found the consistency to be quite thin!!! Performance: Despite being runny, it lathers up nicely with just a small amount of water. It's also effective at removing makeup!!! I've been looking for a mildly alkaline cleansing foam to balance my skin, and this fits the bill perfectly. It cleanses makeup well, and leaves my dry skin feeling squeaky clean. It's packed with ingredients that help with dead skin cell removal, so I don't use it too frequently. Blemishes: While this product didn't cause any new blemishes, it didn't dramatically improve existing ones either. After cleansing, it didn't have a significant effect on the whiteheads concentrated around my mouth and chin area, but it did help somewhat with the minor ones in the butterfly zone. The product is so runny that it gushes out with just a light squeeze, making it a bit inconvenient to use as a mask. Also, there seems to be an issue with the outer cap, as water easily seeps in. This makes the product even more watery and raises some hygiene concerns. For best results, create a rich lather and apply it to your face. Then, gently massage using a cleansing device or silicone cleansing tool. This method can help with removing both blackheads and whiteheads. - ee*****Normal SkinRecommendedMay 18, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The texture is extremely dense and adheres well to the skin. It's meant to be used as a pack cleanser. The scent is forest-like, which is a personal favorite of mine, so I was very satisfied using it. From start to finish, the texture is dense, which allows it to effectively absorb the skin's sebum and pores. After cleansing, the skin feels refreshed and clear. I think it will be great to use during the summer when oil production is high. It also helps manage small blemishes quite well. The dense formulation means that the foam doesn't dissipate easily, so you have to do multiple water cleansings for the foam to be completely removed. You can apply it thickly as a pack. - yo******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 16, 2025
Acne does not appear much, but I tend to have occasional milia on my forehead, and my skin is porous and prone to whiteheads. When I cleanse with this foam on days when many whiteheads have surfaced, the lather comes up thick and bubbly, and most of the noticeable whiteheads disappear! I also felt a significant improvement in my skin texture. Other cleansing foams would leave my skin feeling dry and rough right after washing, but when I use this one, my skin feels smooth and supple. While I can't speak precisely about the effects on acne since I don't have severe breakouts, I do feel that using this product reduces the appearance of milia. I highly recommend this to those with oily, enlarged pores, and combination skin types. It's especially great for those concerned about pores and sebum. There were no particular downsides to using it! I was satisfied with using it as it was effective for my major skin concerns. I apply the Hwahae mud pack to my skin thickly, with a feeling of not getting my hands too wet after squeezing out the foam. Then, I rinse it with water, creating a lather around the pores and cleansing. This makes me feel like I'm doing a deeper cleansing, and I really like it. - yo******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 7, 2025
First off, I loved how well it lathers. Thanks to the silicone vibrating brush, it's easy to get a thorough cleanse with just a small amount. While using this, I felt the bumpy texture from blackheads on my hands decrease. It seems like I didn't need separate blackhead care during the time I used this product. I also noticed a reduction in dead skin cells. My cushion foundation often cakes due to flakiness, but that didn't happen while using this. For my combination dehydrated skin, it felt a bit tight on the first day, but from the second day on, I could use it comfortably without any feeling of tightness. If your main goal is targeting blackheads, I'd recommend focusing on a different product for intensive care. This one seems more suitable as a daily cleanser. - mo*************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 7, 2025
It effectively removes surface oil while preserving the skin's natural moisture, making it feel less drying than other products. The best part is its rich, creamy lather with gentle exfoliating particles that seem to minimize blackheads and uneven texture. There's a slight tightening sensation after washing, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who dislike that feeling. - gp***Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2025
Compared to the cleansing foam from the same brand, this product has richer lather that doesn't deflate as quickly. It gives a more satisfying cleansing experience and even helps with dead skin cell management. I find myself reaching for it more often. The scent might not be to everyone's liking. For daily use, those who don't wear heavy makeup might find it a bit too thorough, leaving their skin feeling overly cleansed. - ga*******Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresMay 3, 2025
Even with my dry skin, this cleanser produced a rich lather, allowing for a gentle cleanse. From the first use, I was impressed by its cleansing effectiveness. It left my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed of excess oil and impurities, which was very satisfying! As I continued using it, I noticed an increasing feeling of deep dryness and a parched sensation, which was disappointing. I don't usually get blemishes, but after using this product, my skin became dry and I even developed some blemishes, which was unfortunate. This cleansing foam can be used in two ways, but I recommend working it into a lather rather than applying it directly to your face. I found this method left my skin feeling less dehydrated. For best results, use with a brightening moisturizer afterwards. - pa****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresMay 2, 2025
A foam cleanser with a rich texture and decent cleansing effectiveness! The scent isn't off-putting either, making it great for daily use. I tried using it as a mask since it said I could, but it took forever to wash off completely. Also, as someone with combination skin leaning towards oily, I felt a slight deep dryness after cleansing, which made me rush through my skincare routine...
